I very much see the rationality of believing that Americans "can't disagree with the results delivered." However, earlier this week, someone posted in a local group that Trump had not delivered on any of his promises. The bandwagon got full fairly quickly, and even after another group member provided a lengthy and verifiable list of accomplishments of the Trump administration thus far, none of those people got off that wagon. This came from a very Republican county situated in deep south Texas, and finding so many people anti-Trump in these groups gives me a little concern. None of us should take the mid-terms nor the 2028 presidential race for granted. TDS is very real even in Republican territory.

My first national vote was absentee for Barry Goldwater while serving at USAF SAC Hq, Offutt AFB Nebraska, at the advice of my USAF retired 0-6 dad. I'm still glad I did that.

My first was also Nixon. I've only voted for one Democrat since and it was for Mayor... I've held my nose several times but when considering the alternative, had no problem.

I remember it was one of those pull lever voting machines. Once behind the curtain i pulled every republican level one after another making a rat-at-at-ta noise. Lady sitting behind the voter identification booth on hearing this said “I sure am glad i’m not married to that man!”
