The only people who never worry about debt are the ones who never intend on paying it back.
It is almost impossible to get my mind wrapped around why people believe the fictional world our politicians are creating for us.
Look at the reality:
Debt without end.
Economic malaise.
Ever present inflation.
Shortages.
Increased taxation.
Civil discord and division.
Corruption at every level.
A two-tiered justice system.
A militant and empowered bureaucracy.
An overweening government designed to incite fear.
And we are told this is the "new-normal". The Biden Administration and their propaganda arm of the mainstream and social media tell us everything is just peachy - just keep eating the bread and going to the circuses.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

The Democrats are a cross between Tommy Flanagan (John Lovitz’s character when SNL was still funny) and Baghdad Bob.
None of this can stand, and I have a high degree of confidence it will not - but what I fear is the crash that is coming.
I believe leaders who simply stand for freedom will rise, but it is possible they will be able to do little until the crash comes and the rebuilding starts. By that time, America will face threats from abroad to go with the challenges from within.
My granddaddy always said that the only people who never worry about debt are the ones who never intended to pay it back in the first place.
Each of those ten items above is a debt in some form, creating some deficit that will eventually need to be satisfied.
The American left in general, and Democrats in particular, have no intention of paying those debts. The Biden administration is borrowing and spending to keep the party going and they don't care that the bill is going to come due - largely because they WANT our nation to crash, just not on their watch.
America has changed.
For the 65 years from about 1900 to 1965, progressive ideology pushed its way into American life, ratcheting itself forward through the ebb and flow of American politics. While its public influence appeared to oscillate from strong to weak, the remarkable effectiveness of its adherents is evident in the enshrinement of its advances in American law, rendering them almost beyond challenge or change. No matter the political climate, these progressive policies (mostly entitlements) have never been reformed.
Even when progressives fell out of power, these progressive policies remained intact, forming a foundation for the next wave of progressivism to build upon.
If you do not see this, please name for me one major government entitlement program that has ever been reduced or eliminated.
Now progressivism is now on the downhill run and picking up momentum. All that came before has set the stage for what now comes. In the years since about 1965, the changes in America desired by progressives have become easier and easier and have met less and less resistance. It is simply inconceivable that Bill Clinton or even the commie loving Jimmy Carter before him could have “normalized” relationships with communist Cuba without being met with true opposition, unlike the impotent “oh, well” whimper that President Obama experienced when he did so. Even the clear connections between the Biden family and China, Russia and the money laundering in Ukraine have simply been ignored.
There can be little doubt that the indoctrination of children in government schools dominated by progressive ideology is a cause, but another is the incrementalism that has been adopted by those who purportedly oppose progressivism.
The only thing that stands between progressivism and its ultimate goal of a communist government in America is the people. Far from being an outlandish idea, our duty to protect America from destruction from within is defined in the Declaration of Independence:
“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
That’s no crazy right-wing, Tea Party, MAGA hat wearing semi-fascist zealot speaking – that was Thomas Jefferson.
The fact that I could write the same thing as Jefferson did in the Declaration of Independence and be called a semi-fascist is evidence of how far America has fallen.
If these debtors believe their debts have been "forgiven" they are sadly mistaken. In this country, poor and middle class people don't pay income taxes - effectively zero. It's paid by the higher earners in the upper two quintiles. Mainly college graduates. They'll be paying back their student loans on the installment plan for the rest of their lives. Every April. Also the immediate, short term effect of Joe "forgiving" this debt will be inflation. Everybody pays that tax. Most especially the poor.
It is amazing the thought and foresight our forefathers put into forming our government. They are probably rolling in their graves right now!
