Who is in the Democrat presidential on-deck circle?
I just can’t believe Biden will run – 2/3’s of Democrats don’t want him and the power brokers in the party can see a Fetterman situation developing - but even if he does, who has next?
They are in the process of moving on from the idea of a President Kamala. She has proven useless as an attack dog, has shied away from any substantial role she has been given, she can’t deliver a speech without sounding like a stoner and quite frankly, has given people, including members of her own party reason to believe the stories about how she slept her way to the top.
How about Democrat governors?
Not a pretty sight either, Gavin Newsom has destroyed California, Pritzker the same with Illinois. Cuomo is out in NY and his replacement, Kathy Hochul, is Kamala 2.0. Whitmer? Shapiro? Polis? One is a FBI kidnap victim and the other two are relative unknowns.
Biden’s cabinet is an identity politics bonanza, but a complete and total confederation of dunces. It seems they are pushing Secretary Mayor Pothole Pete to the forefront, but he looks and performs like a young Joe Biden. Paternity Leave Pete is a highly educated incompetent who values his personal time over public service, but don’t count him out – he checks a lot of boxes for the pronoun crowd in the Democrat Party.
What about Congress?
Hakeem Jefferies is Obama without the charisma, smarts, and connections. Schumer has the intellect of an anvil and at 72, is not much younger than Biden. He is a 1974 Harvard Law grad who immediately ran for office upon graduation and has been on the public payroll for 49 years. Amy Klobuchar? She really doesn’t have national appeal. Lieawathwa? Cory “T-Bone” Booker? Comrade Bernie? Comrade Bernie is looking like a moderate compared to Biden – and to think they shafted Bernie, largely because he was telling the truth about what he was planning to do.
C’mon, man.
The contemporary Democrat Party leadership compares favorably with the 2003 Detroit Tigers. The Tigers finished 43-119 (.265 winning percentage) for the year. With perhaps the exception of Dmitri Young clocking a career-best 29 home runs and almost batting .300, no one on the roster even had a respectable season. According to Bleacher Report, “the second-most valuable player on the roster was arguably Nate Cornejo, who went 6-17 with a 4.67 ERA and just 46 strikeouts in 194.2 innings pitched. At least he didn't lose as many games as Jeremy Bonderman (19) and Mike Maroth (21).”
None of this cavalcade of imbecility means that Democrats won’t win – I mean they have “won” elections with a clearly mentally compromised Biden from the basement and Fetterman from the psych ward. They have a pretty good system set up to manipulate elections – but it sort of gives you an idea that any Democrat administration for the next couple of decades will be right out of the script of the movie Idiocracy.
Spot on as usual. I would add though that I want Hochul to run as maybe it will get that crazy loon out of NY. She is the absolute worst and nothing but a poster child for the far-far-far left. She has totally alienated her Buffalo Blue-Collar base, not to mention all the helicopter trips she takes around NYC, on tax payer dime, just to get to events.
The Dems have proved they don't need no stinkin' bench. So long as whoever they nominate remains loyal to the uniparty and mouths progressive nostrums, the Win is pre-ordained. Only a Republican uniparty nominee could win - and the nomination process among 50 states weeds out the Jeb! types nowadays. Yes, we have a terrific bench by comparison - not that it matters.
