Just what is the Democrat plan for America?

What, exactly, is the argument Democrats are making for America?

I’m not seeing one, at least not like the ones the true communists made back in the 60’s. Given, that argument was a loser from the jump, but at least they had the courage of their convictions to make it.

What about economic issues? We just witnessed how far tax and spend will go under an unopposed Democrat regime. That got us a massive deficit, an equally massive increase in the national debt (and the same in unfunded liabilities), runaway inflation, unaffordable housing, a lowered birthrate, and a lack of economic mobility.

It isn’t about how open borders benefit America. Democrats clearly want open borders, so how does America benefit? Is it “diversity”? Is it about cheap labor (that one is a big business argument and big business used to be the enemy of the left)? Is it about getting our crops picked so they can rest easy that they will have avocados for their toast? And the ludicrous narrative they advanced that the government was just helpless to execute its duty to protect our border was proven to be a despicable lie by President Trump in less than thirty days of legitimate enforcement. As Trump put it, all we needed to close the border was a new president.

None of that is particularly accretive to the American people.

How about social policy? Their main argument seems to be diversity, equity and inclusion at all costs – including the erasure of the gender binary – that biological women and girls are simply acceptable collateral damage. One doesn’t hear much about women playing men’s sports in college and pre-college, because the most obvious damage is when biological men, men with XY chromosomes, decide to compete with women who at a disadvantage 99.9% of the time. So, I can’t see how the idea that men are better at being women that women are is a winner for anyone, not even the autogynephilic (males who exhibit a propensity to be sexually aroused by the thought of themselves as a female).

And DEI policies are nothing but quotas (e.g., legalized discrimination) based on political affiliation, skin color and identity politics. There is a reason none of the Democrats praise Bruce “Caitlin” Jenner for his/her bravery – Jenner leans right – and as far as Black Americans, according to former (hallelujah) President Joe Biden, you ain’t Black unless you vote Democrat. Doesn’t seem particularly diverse, inclusive, or equitable to me, just the opposite and that doesn’t work well if one wants a free nation – or a civil, high performance, meritocratic society.

Foreign policy? Powerball AND Mega Millions winning numbers for Democratic allies are more like it. American taxpayer money directed toward causes that were and are anti-American. For all appearances, some NGO’s were directly connected to spouses of active Senators and Representatives – most of them Democrats. Money was directed toward pet issues like transgender and LGBTQIA+ acceptance in foreign countries, many of them Muslim where gay people and trans are killed, toward women’s empowerment in countries where honor killings are an accepted action, and DEI initiatives in countries where ethnic and racial discrimination is a fact of life. Nothing but waste of funds the law-abiding taxpayer was coerced to pay. How is that waste not a breach of fiduciary duty? And it wasn’t just a measly million or two, it was billions spent for nothing.

It is not like those pet issues are popular in Tanzania or Serbia.

And now Democrats are suing and using the courts to stop the President’s actions to stop the waste, fraud, abuse – AND inevitably, the kickbacks – risking a true constitutional crisis over separation of powers and a continuance of billions of dollars of waste.

It is just impossible to erase the memory of four years of an administration pretending to be successful while the country grew worse in every single category.

Although some Dems are coming around to the harsh reality, most are not. The leadership the party elected was either an early and cruel April Fool’s joke or a signal of their intent to continue to be wrong, just be wrong even harder and with gusto.

Many still think it is a messaging problem – it isn’t. It is just that their message can no longer camouflage how insane and destructive their ideas are, and people are noticing that there is a positive alternative (as exemplified in President Trump’s three-hour message garnering nearly 70% approval).

No messaging will overcome that.
