What I HATE with all my being and all my soul is the resultant inflation which is nothing if not TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION! It is utterly deceitful and wicked - but is this not synonymous with it being “Demokrat” in essence?
The Dems who caused this inflation--Yet both their politicos AND their voters didn't complain or say "peep" about it till now. The hypocrisy is so blatant it hurts. Now Trump is faced with prices--that will be hard to pull-back (your excellent photo couldn't be a better visual analogy).
Another analogy, is the woman who spends her paycheck and borrows more to look her most "beautiful and stylish"--but depletes her bank account out-- for her old age. While the woman who was prudent--possibly less "glamorous" --provides herself with a nest egg and a better future.
It takes sacrifice to be fiscally prudent. It takes courage to face issues that threaten Social Security,Medicare/Medicaid Welfare programs, and even our attitude within foreign policies.
But we've become more demanding, more selfish, less willing to say":"What can I do for my country". We've become "What will my country do for ME!?"

And inflation is a tax is paid everyone, but especially by the people least able to bear it.
