Democrats don't have the requisite moral compass or intellectual acuity to change.
Not to mention they believe to the core of their being that they are morally and intellectually superior to conservatives. Thus, they could NEVER admit to having been wrong.
As for elected Republicans, you have often "heard" me say, the less you expect from elected Republicans, the less likely it is that you'll be disappointed.
The DemOcoms are from Venus and Patriots from Mars. Real men can't be Dems. Emotionally driven cucks depend on NextDoor to get a leaky faucet repaired and are overshadowed by Alpha Trump.
Look, the Dems are a-holes but there's no need to insult people who aren't as handy as others. Or someone like me - I am battling an injury that makes DIY far too challenging and painful in the current moment.
Also, while I'm passable with carpentry, yard work, and electrical, except my stupid state doesn't allow DIY electrical without a license royally suck at plumbing and car repairs -- nobody's perfect. I can usually at least diagnose most of those problems, though.
Plus, if you have super active kinetic kids and two working parents, sometimes the time factor is an issue. I'll reinstall a new toilet seat, but I live in a 100 year old house where some stuff is a little funky, and probably better off touched by someone better at these things than me. I can at least do a new toilet seat or fix the float, but I'm way more apprehensive about anything that can cause a giant surge of water if I screw up. And yes I do know where to turn it on and off, and I had the old faucet/crank/knob (don't know the official name, sorry) type valves replaced with the "handle" style - again, by someone much better at this stuff than me.
For reference, my presidential votes were Johnson 2016, Trump 2020 as a protest of the Covid Cult, and Trump 2024 as the clearly least insane choice on the ballot.
Point being, let's not devalue others if they do something useful. If there's an accountant or programmer or doctor out there who can't change a tire without AAA, that's no reason to insult them. They just do something different than the tradespeople; and BOTH types of things make a society function. If there's a Grievance Studies barista who cannot do anything remotely useful other than hit the button on the coffee machine and be sassy (and wrong) on the TikChat apps, that's a problem.

Harry Truman was unavailable for comment.

Trendy kids use the neologism: "sus". I would be "sus" if the Dems connived to change their behavior.
