Very interesting proposal. But I don’t think there is any way that we have enough “far-sighted leaders” to pull this off. And convincing the ignorant public that experiencing short-term pain to avoid complete collapse would be a monumentally impossible task. I fear for my grandchildren’s future.
We’d need to roll back over 250 years - back to the Articles of Confederation.
