Actually, I do have a problem with us spending billions and sending troops and equipment to Ukraine. Not that I'm a fan of Russia, but it was our corrupt politicians' actions in conjunction with Ukraine's corrupt politicians' actions that put Ukraine and Russia in this situation. I put the blame squarely on them, and I don't believe the American people should pay the price for their corruption. Frankly, at this point, I don't think we should be sending aid (financial or military) anywhere. We have enough problems in this country, and the Constitution gives the federal government authority for neither. The U.S. isn't a charity - it's a country of citizens who elect officials to represent them in running this country - not to fight wars in other countries.

Do I think there is a place and time for America to enter into such conflict? Sure. Is the Ukraine/Russia conflict such a place or time? No.

I agree and we must always remember, war is meant for killing people and breaking things, period/end of sentence. When we think of it in any other way, we have already started with one hand tied behind our back.

Now there is another reason for this prolonged war in Ukraine - that is because there is monies going there from US, and maybe some other places, that then is unaccounted for. Meaning it winds up in certain pre-ordained pockets! End the war, end the money flow, and pockets do not get filled.

I can guarantee you that some of that very same money will find its way back into the US Democrats pockets, and don't forget the 10% for the big guy. If you look at the last few so-called wars, who really benefitted? The war machine manufacturers for one. Some increases to our military, but inconsequential as compared to the $$$ to the manufacturers. And guess who contributed large amounts of $$$ to the politician PACS!

We no longer fight wars on principle basis and probably have not done so since the Korean War. We fight it for getting $$$ into the pockets of the right backers and promoters. It's payback for the donations and votes!

I am sorry to be so negative, but with what I have witnessed over the last decade, I do not trust anyone within this govt regardless of what side of the coin they are on. And I trust the various departments (FBI, DOJ, CDC, WHO, DOE, etc., etc.) even less.

My 2 cents.

Ukraine began a campaign of genocide against the ethnic Russians of the Donbass contrary to the agreed Minsk Agreements where they could vote on their status. Violation by the West.

Then a push for further eastward NATO expansion into Ukraine. Violation by the West.

NATO builds the Ukraine Army to the 2nd largest in continental Europe. Violation by the West.

VP Harris endorses Ukraine NATO membership. Violation by the West.

Zelenskyy proclaims they will seek nuclear weapons! Violation by Ukraine.

Putin responds to the now time critical violations by the Western alliance by invading to secure the Donbass, protecting ethnic Russians, and is hypocritically blamed by the West.

Putin allows the Donbass to vote on their status. The Donbass vote overwhelmingly to leave Ukraine and join their ethnic Russian neighbors.

Refugees flow in both directions largely unrestricted.

The war is fought in a World War I fashion, rather than a WWII Blitzkrieg.

The Ukraine Army has been destroyed twice, and replenished twice. Russia has virtually total air supremacy, but has exercised restraint, allowing Zelenskyy to sacrifice more and more men, materials, and money.

Meanwhile, the global east and south are abandoning the American Empire, which is bled white now. This will ultimately end the EuroDollar and PetroDollar standards leading to a degradation of US standard of living. The West's next gambit to control and extract from their peoples are CBDCs so they can limit and direct any spending into only desired channels, confiscating the rest!

The leaders of the West, governmental and corporate, have devolved to complete and total evil. It is only fitting, if there is any Justice in the universe, that they be overthrown or defeated. The common people of Western nations are generally not blame, other than for their complacency.

I'm no fan of either Putin nor Xi, but they both seem to be trying to support and enhance the prospects for THEIR people and are succeeding!

The term "American leadership" is an oxymoron. Corrupt oligarchs and the Military Industrial Complex now are in complete control of our nation. What, as peasants, are we supposed to do? If I refuse to pay taxes, I go to jail. At this moment, I would not approve of an insurrection or a terrorist attack; but someone with 61,000 pounds of stolen explosives might.

All we can do is pray and hope that our good vibes make a difference in the metaphysical world.

Why did the war in Kraine happen? Because, in the wake of the russiarussiarussia hoax, the quality of our national conversation has degenerated to "If you are against the war in Ukraine, you are a Russian stooge who wants to see Ukrainians raped and killed."

And people say this crap out lout and expect to be taken seriously.
