Against my better judgement, I engaged in a Trump debate with a guy I grew up with who even now refuses to answer my question of, "Do you consider yourself a Progressive?"

He posted a meme/photo that read,

- The media will stop him

- The Senate will stop him

- Mueller will stop him

- Jack Smith will stop him

- Letitia James will stop him

- Alvin Bragg will stop him

- The courts will stop him

- Look around - there's nobody but us. We have to stop him.

Over a picture of DJT

So I asked specifically what it was we needed to stop him from doing. I got nothing but TDS talking points in return. I offered evidence that proved the claims false and he either ignored the facts completely or introduced another claim that was utterly false, or sidestepped the question asked completely. I gave him the "I'm living rent free in your head, son." meme I find useful in situations like this He went on a rant of all the things Trump is accused of and I pointed out that Biden, Clinton, and Soetero actually did the things he was accusing Trump of, but they haven't met even 100th of the consequences and actions OrangeManBad has had to deal with.

So after having facts eliminate all his supposed arguments, he just quit responding at all, but a remarkable thing happened. a couple guys I haven't seen since High School entered the fray and added upon my arguments. Come to find out they are also California refugees that escaped the land of fruits and nuts in order to live a life of much more self determination than relying on the state to figure everything out for them.

This reminds me that 2020 was manipulated to such a degree that the outcome was produced, not a true representation of the will of the electorate. Simply from a numbers POV, 2024 ought to be an overwhelming landslide in Trumps' favor. If it is not, or somehow Brandon appears to come out on top, there won't be any more doubt that we no longer live in a Constitutional Republic, but rather that we've become a Banana republic with delusions of tyrannical control. We may have to fight our way out of this.

TRUTH Michael, "Voting against Trump is voting for ... more war, more debt, more economic demise, more taxes, and less freedom."

When are our fellow travelers going to get it?

Also means voting for more invasions of single young men of military age and of proven cartel and gang members.

I have to be really careful when I’m with certain people who are related through marriage when they say that they are or “were” registered republicans but they really hate Mr Orange because of all the terrible and awful things he’s done. I wonder how they’ve gotten to that point and the only thing I come up with is they’re victims of malevolent persuasion, because I just don’t see it that way.

Their mortal enemy hasn’t come close to what I’ve seen over many years by our government and when I hear lies, they are lies.

A good answer might be lack of self esteem, a desire to be in with the cool crowd, like I saw many people that I went to school with.

The difference between them and me is that I always believed in myself and my good judgement , and didn’t feel left out when I made my own friends not based upon who others were telling me I “should” like - or hate.

By the way, they hate to be called sheep but what else could they be?

I live in the 7th District of VA. We have Eugene Vindman running for that seat as of course a Dem.

We also have three really good Rs running. Cameron Hamilton, who I personally know and like a lot. Derrick Anderson, whom I've met several times and voted for in the last primary as well as Jon Myers, a FB friend, who helped with Operation Pineapple, after the Afgan debacle.

All three are fine men and I wouldn't mind any of them winning. I will vote for one in the primary but won't lose any sleep if my guy loses.

In WILL do what I can to make sure Vindman doesn't win. IMO he's just another Social Dem who is a threat to our country, full of TDS.

Many in the Lincoln Group wanted Trump to hire them and he refused. I think they mostly lost their minds over that. How DARE Trump not hire them... 😏
