MAL (Marxists Always Lie)
A good friend of mine, Reinhold Tischler (may he rest in peace), coined the acronym, "MAL". The Harris-[insert regime stooge name here] 24 campaign is exceeding even his imagination.
MAL indeed.
I am stunned by how much content being posted on social media by the Harris campaign staff is simply lies – and not even new or even plausible ones, either.
I don’t really know who they are trying to convince because only their own idiot supporters still believe the “good people,” the “inject bleach,” and the “Trump said he was going to be a dictator” lies.
They are piling on new ones, he is going to stop elections, ban the Constitution, he sent people to the Capitol to commit insurrection, he promised a “bloodbath” if not elected, Project 2025 is his plan, are but some – every one of them, it only takes a three second google search to prove the Harris people are lying.
Add on top of those the propositions that the Trump border was worse than the Biden-Harris border, the economy is better now than it was then, the Afghanistan retreat was Trumps plan Biden-Harris couldn’t change, and America is more respected abroad now than ever.
Someone on Facebook posted this quote from Hannah Arendt, the noted German American political theorist and philosopher:
“The result of a consistent and total substitution of lies for factual truth is not that the lie will now be accepted as truth, and truth be defamed as lie, but that the sense by which we take our bearings in the real world — and the category of truth versus falsehood is among the mental means to this end — is being destroyed.”
Orwell illustrated this process when Winston was forced to not only say that two plus two equaled five but was forced to continue repeating it until he believed it.
The goal is not to force you to believe one thing or another, the goal of repeating something you know is false is to completely rip out your basis for logic and render you powerless.
In her 1951 book, Origins of Totalitarianism, Arendt noted this “mixture of gullibility and cynicism… is prevalent in all ranks of totalitarian movements”:
“In an ever-changing, incomprehensible world the masses had reached the point where they would, at the same time, believe everything and nothing, think that everything was possible, and nothing was true… The totalitarian mass leaders based their propaganda on the correct psychological assumption that, under such conditions, one could make people believe the most fantastic statements one day, and trust that if the next day they were given irrefutable proof of their falsehood, they would take refuge in cynicism; instead of deserting the leaders who had lied to them, they would protest that they had known all along that the statement was a lie and would admire the leaders for their superior tactical cleverness.”
Politicians are given the lease to exaggerate or even lie during campaigns – it has become so commonplace that we expect them to do so – but there are differences. Some politicians, and I believe Trump fits in this category, exaggerate, and offer opinions favorable to their side.
Some politicians choose to outright lie – and I don’t mean exaggerate or bend opinions or perspectives – they just lie and in the case of Democrats, they openly lie about their history, their policies, their performance and most of all, their opponents.
And this year’s medal leaders in the 2024 Olympic Prevarication games for pushing what, outside a political campaign, would be actionable libel and slander, are the people manning (personing?) the Harris campaign for president. Their lies are so obvious and provably false, it boggles the mind how they can hit the button to post them, especially knowing they are lies.
But they have gone full Harry Reid – they don’t care if the other guy doesn’t win.
Compare Arendt’s observations to what the Harris campaign is doing, and you will understand why I have called the Democrats the New Soviets.

Now we are witnessing Orwell's erasure of the past as Reuters has apologized for and scrubbed from its website any mention of Kamala as Border Czar.
Reinhold was a joy to interact with, and MAL is a concise and useful legacy of his.
