Well written and it reminds me of a piece I read years ago comparing the collapse of the Roman Empire to what is happening in our country-the same conclusion was made-we are more than likely on the downside of our “greatness” and closer to a collapse than we realize. I am just glad I am at the end of my life rather than the beginning. I feel terrible for the generations that follow the Baby Boomer generation.

Granted, the Pacific Ocean is a large moat, but given advances in the scale and efficiency of maritime transportation, it’s no longer the formidable chasm it was in World War II. China has the capability. looks like it will be getting a LOT uglier over time
1. We live in California and recently visited Tennessee where the city we visited has nuclear power and is a "red" state. Yet we experienced a rolling blackout for almost two hours when the temperature dropped to 10 degrees in Tennessee.
I couldn't help but laugh coming from a "blue" state known for its rolling blackouts and turning off nuclear power that in a Red state with Nuclear power we had a rolling blackout. The point being that Yes it all has to come down because it doesn't matter, the politicians of both parties are freaking idiots.

I don't think they wanted to weaken us as part of their world dominion scheme. I think they wanted to Loot and weaken us.
