The only federal court that should have powers of judicial review, that is, the examination of the constitutional merits of a law or an executive action, is the Supreme Court. To allow 93 Districts and 14 Circuits if Appeal the power to each create its own case law is a formula for folly and confusion.

Right but it’s telling that that stunt has never been repeated. I live in one of those neighborhoods. There is an air of complacency that affluence protects them so they can display their virtue at no cost. Disrupt that and it’s over for the ruling class. The fact that it has not been done shows the cowardice and/or duplicity of the republicans.

I have wondered if another DC rules different than the liberal one what happens? The liberal ones keep applying their ruling to the whole country which I thought they cannot do. appeals court rulings only apply to the states they have jurisdiction in.
