Because I don’t believe men or women can change sex the way a chameleon changes color to suit its environment, because I don’t think letting a three-year-old decide what sex they are, loading an adolescent up with irreversible drugs, or chopping off the breasts of a teen girl is a good idea, I hate trans kids.
The damage to kids is evident to anyone paying attention. The adults who chose to “trans” know what the are getting into – or should – so they accept the challenges ahead. Kids don’t. Kids are easily influenced by peers and fads, and having mentally ill parents isn’t an easy ride either. I don’t see how protecting children until they can make their own decisions is “hate” anymore than denying them ice cream for breakfast.
I have written a lot about transgenderism lately, but my interest is less about the victims of this mental illness – and it is a mental illness called gender dysphoria (at least it was until it was removed from the DSV) - and more interested in what the ultimate damage of mainstreaming something so at odds with nature and human civilization could be.
It has already been established that the “trans” social contagion does real damage to individuals, but in my opinion, it strikes so directly at the foundations of human civilization that it should be considered the greatest danger to humans that isn’t an extinction level event caused by an asteroid the size of New York City hitting the planet (Bruce Willis is in no condition to save us now).
I think we have seen cases where AI, particularly ChatGPT, has evidenced a tilt to the left with some of the answers it gives, so I thought I would ask it a question about civilization and see what it gave me. I asked the following question:
What is the smallest unit of civilization?
Here’s what ChatGPT wrote:
“The smallest unit of civilization can be difficult to define because it can vary depending on the context and perspective. However, one way to think about it is to consider the basic building blocks of a society, which are typically individuals and families.
In this sense, the smallest unit of civilization is the family, which is the fundamental unit of social organization in most societies. Families provide a structure for raising children, passing on cultural values and traditions, and providing support for their members. They also serve as the foundation for larger social structures, such as communities and nations.
However, in some cases, the smallest unit of civilization might be considered to be the individual, as individuals have the ability to make choices, express themselves, and contribute to the larger society in meaningful ways. Ultimately, the answer to this question may depend on how one defines and conceptualizes civilization.”
So, this AI may lean a little to the left but it isn’t insane.
It still danced around what I think is the smallest unit of civilization by calling it the “family”, noting the family’s role in “raising children, passing on cultural values and traditions, and providing support for their members”, and writing about the role of the individual – all of which is true – but ignores the most fundamental action that is the genesis of all that comes after.
It is the pairing of man and woman that forms the basis for the nuclear family.
I understand that in the contemporary context, same sex couples or unrelated aggregations of people (Hillary’s ‘it takes a village’) can be defined as “families” that can rear children, but the face is they cannot reproduce on their own without that male/female pairing. Such “families” are cultural, societal, civilizational, and evolutionary dead ends.
Transgenderism is based on the fallacy that the male/female binary is a social construct, and therefore can be broken without consequence.
With civilization, as with any building or structure, when you destroy enough of the foundation, the damage isn’t just limited to the stones or cinder blocks, eventually the entire structure collapses.
And this is exactly what the supporters of this “trans” fad are doing. Given my observations over my six-plus decades on the planet and being politically aware for around fifty years of that, not everybody who is promoting this fad is aware of the risk of what they are doing. I can guarantee the loudest voices in state, local and federal government have given that much thought to it beyond the instant gratification of having a new political wedge. These are typically not the deepest thinking of people.
But there is a minority who know exactly what the endpoint could be – and are cheering the coming of that end. From racism to “climate disruption” to wokeism, this minority has been trying out tools for humanity’s destruction as frequently as Elizabeth Hurley changes bikinis (and may she never stop).
Transgenderism has the potential to do the job. Not today or tomorrow, but mark my word, it can do the job because, out of all the earlier weapons, this one gets right to the basic building block of all civilizations – the male/female binary.
When Alfred J. Pennyworth described the Joker to Bruce Wayne, he described the misanthropes behind the transgender contagion:
“Some men aren’t looking for anything logical. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
I feel truly blessed this morning. I spent much of yesterday admiring photos of dogs on Twitter (it was National Beagle Day). I weighed myself and discovered I lost 3# in a week. And then, to top it all off, I read Michael's latest Substack offering. While I always enjoy reading UNLICENSED PUNDITRY, today's essay was one of the best.
Michael absorbs thoughts and trends the way my dog eats. While I pride myself on my writing, I'd never be able to compose an essay that included thoughts on the "progressive" movement to destroy our children, ChatGPT. Bruce Willis, Batman, and Elizabeth Hurley's swimsuits. My mind is swirling.
Two thoughts:
I worry when I read about ChatGPT. In our fractured and morally bankrupt society, millions turn to the Internet for companionship and a feeling of belonging. How long will it be before millions turn to AI for advice and friendship? Is it the Magic 8-Ball of the 21st century, the Wizard of Oz, or an electric Satan?
Secondly, the joint concepts of civilization and community are worthwhile subjects of discussion. I despise HRC and her "it takes a family" BS. Nevertheless, humans are social animals and many of us suffer from the Fauci/CCP world that we now live in. As Michael wrote, the smallest unit of civilization is the individual and the only way that life on our planet can continue is through male/female intercourse and reproduction. These freaks being modified and ruined by radical, misinformed, and stupid parents will become a significant voting block in just a few years. While representing possibly 1% of the population, they and their fellow "influencers" give the impression that they represent a rising tide that will replace Christianity and the traditional family. Maybe they will. Maybe this is symbolic of a species that is sick of life and that despairs of the future. It is troubling. Sometimes I wish I'd joined Heaven's Gate. Things have certainly gone downhill since Hale-Bopp and maybe that comet did signify something.
The basics of any civilization are what I call Divine Institutions:
1. Individual Freedom
2. Marriage
3. Family
4. Nationhood
These are the building blocks upon which civilizations are constructed. Ice the cake however you like thereafter.
