Over 20 years ago, I was struggling with several major life decisions - whether to continue being an attorney, though I sincerely loathed 98% of the attorneys I had to work with; staying in the geographical area I was at or returning closer to my family, and whether to try to keep a failed marriage going or not. I needed a place to talk through these concerns. I started seeing a psychologist. After several sessions, he stated I was different than all of his other clients - when I talked, I said, "I think" about whatever the topic was. He said all of his other clients said, "I feel..." when talking about their concerns. That comment struck me as very odd. Didn't other people think about choices that would impact their life's trajectory? I still say, "I think..." and rarely say, "I feel..." unless it's expressing genuine feelings to my family. 2 decades later and the 98% seems to have completely highjacked the 2%ers voices. Ugh. Double ugh. (now that's an expression of feeling!)

“Ah feel” just sounds “awful.”

These are indeed scary times. In some ways it parallels the old west when viewed through today's eyes. Chaos, the might of the rich and powerful, and the sin of the pleasure and debauchery. For that matter you can go back in time and see other parallels too. The scene from Moses seeing the towns folk worshipping the Golden Bull idol comes to mind. And then there is the parallels to Hollywood movies such as Death Wish. And we saw glimpses of the ultimate reality in the BLM riots around the country, especially the establishment of the police free zone in Portland Oregon.

You had best be on the winning side, or you will be demolished. And even being on the winning side is no guarantee that you will survive either because once your services are no longer needed - you to will become cannon fodder.

The only right side here is on the side of God. We need to have that resurgence now more than ever. We need to adhere to HIS message and beg for HIS forgiveness. I pray it's not to late.

Rabies? If only—at lesser there’s a cure for that.

If only their brains hadn’t devolved into one cell—at least with two cells there’d be a synapse.

Surprisingly, the seed of devolvement is compassion.

Without proper pruning, the fruit develops in three stages:

1. ) Tolerance of evil

2. ) Acceptance of evil

3. ) Advocation of evil

Meanwhile, I sit on a hill like Jonah, watching for God's destruction of the city.

Hey, wait, maybe they ARE God's demolition crew.

Is it too long a stretch to suggest that we as a society accede to the possibility (at least) that objective truth (what Schaeffer called, true truth) exists. Then it must follow to know (or at least rationally and not homicidally) debate what form such objective truth takes?

So there’s good news? Aa self-limiting virus, rabies eventually kills the host.

How does one shout total agreement to a deeply disturbing assessment? “Loving” it doesn’t exactly fit… so just sharing

I think there was a typo about Biden. I think you meant "negotiate" not "negate" peace efforts.
