Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: (18) Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
Excellent. Do you believe we still have time to reverse course and save our civilization? I fear that day has come, and too many of “us” no longer have “the capacity to distinguish between being wrong and being wicked.”
I think we do have time, and I think the DemSocs takeover of the Democrat Party is an opportunity we should not miss. But we need to go now. The window of opportunity will close.
The clip of Senator Graham from the Kavanaugh hearings has been highlighted with his death. It is the stuff of movies. Colleagues whom he treated with respect and saw as good people with bad ideas had shown themselves to be bad people. His fury wasn't just about the immoral, unfair, and despicable treatment of Kavanaugh during the advice and consent process. For him, his "friends across the aisle" had betrayed not just the constructs of the US Constitution, they had betrayed him.
The unbridled and unapologetic pursuit of power in politics has been unmasked. It has poisoned our national discourse and set neighbors against neighbors. Fear and suspicion have replaced trust.
This takes care of the question of "separating intent from outcome". When we understand the nature of certain leaders, we grasp that our naive intent has nothing to do with their intent. Beyond that, I assure you that the millions who have died and will die due to the outcomes of communist policies likely couldn't care less what the supposed intent was.
I am thankful that my dad would not abide straight up tribalism in our home. When I was a teenager in the 70s and tribalism and leftist veiws were becoming fashionable, he always insisted we be able to explain the rationale behind our views, because our friends or the TV said so was not adequate reason. We need more parents and teachers like that who will demand critical thinking.
Great insights on the nature of conversation. It is critical that we restore Americas ability to engage in conversation to discuss both our history and current events. Try on for size, CountiesFirst.org A discussion centered on restoring a voice back into the counties. Something we once had and which was taken from our communities.
Spare me your moralizing after all the despicable things Republicans, including our current President, said in response to Nancy Pelosi's husband getting nearly beaten to death.
Really…… that’s all you got? Perhaps the attempted overthrow of the Trump Presidency and then the act of lying to jail him for nothing could top that. Or in your mind perhaps not. Poor ole Paul… right out of a comic book
Well, no. There was a protest, nothing else. Making jokes about Paul Pelosi pales in comparison to killing Charlie Kirk and attempting to assassinate President Trump.
"Making jokes about Paul Pelosi pales in comparison to killing Charlie Kirk and attempting to assassinate President Trump." Wow, that's what I call an apples-to-oranges comparison.
Not really. You changed the scale by equating jokes with death and death threats by claiming what the right says is worse than anything the left has done.
Michael, politics in the United States has become more sport than anything else.
You pick your team and you back your team 100%. You love and cheer for each member of your team until one member gets traded to a different team. Then you aromatically despise that person because he's no longer on your team. Same goes the other way. You hate the stars of the other team until your team gets one of them in a trade. Then you love that person, not because of his sports ability, personality, or anything else, but because he wears the correct uniform now.

Most people cannot even begin to comprehend the evil of most Democrat leaders because they don't even realize that psychopaths exist. READ: “Without Conscience”: A Book That Changed My Life: https://daveziffer.substack.com/p/without-conscience-a-book-that-changed

Trump was the one who tried to overthrow our government on January 6
