How long will it take us to get rid of this nonsense? Just ignoring or saying no is not likely to succeed.

As Crosby and Stills sang, "Teach the children well" - but we didn't. I'm afraid it will take a generation to overcome this idiocy unless we have some sort of clarifying event - like a economic depression or a war.

Michael, given what is happening -- being encouraged to happen by the incompetents in DC -- both clarifying events may not be so far in our future.

This self esteem nonsense began quite a long time ago. At least thirty years ago. ‘You are perfect just as you are’. Teach children to think highly of themselves!! Crazy. But I knew a ton of people into counseling. You couldn’t talk them out of it. I knew this woman who ruined all her relationships because she cheated on every guy she dated/married. She said she is finally not dissing herself for doing this. I said ‘YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FEEL BAD ABOUT THIS!’ She was shocked at my anti self esteeming attitude. It was like the idea of a conscience was lost overnight.

I love your posts Michael. Besides being informative I learn new words - schadenfreude. Though sometimes I feel that I was absent from schooling the day they taught all of these words that you use!

He is outraged they would seek to interrupt a private event, yet I would bet when Sarah Sanders was screamed at in restaurants the two of them would have applauded heartily. Once extremists become the leaders the group/church/political party falls apart. This is what we see happening in real time with the Dems. The minute the extreme becomes the real voice of the party it spirals into positions that demands the main part of the group to adhere to points they don’t agree with. A winning political party must by definition have a centrist bias. It has to to win the center. Gaza and Transinsanity will peel off 20-40% of the Dem base. In Canada Justin’s Trans stances has lost him Muslims this next election. I have been talking to absolute fanatic Liberal voting Muslims who have said none will vote now for Justin. It is only a question of time before they realize the Liberal Party leadership is all in with Trans. It isn’t only Justin.

Separate Note: As Dean Chemerinsky is described as being progressive beyond mere liberalism I assume he has embraced the fashionable anti-Israeli stance of progressivism. That the pro-Palestinian protestors chose to target him and his wife merely because he is Jewish demonstrates that anti-Semitism rather than more anti-Zionism was the main motive for attacking him in his own home. This also shows that the Hamasniks will give no quarter to any Jew no matter how much that person may protest they fealty to anti-Zionism.

Editing suggestion: Including the anti-“Chem” poster without explaining it can confuse your readers. I only learned about the intent of the poster from the video you had linked. But not every reader will necessarily view the linked report. Maybe my vision is dim and I overlooked an explanation? However I also appreciate the schadenfreude you described!

It wasn't explicit, but I did note "her actions include posting distasteful caricatures of Jews in general (and of Chemerinsky in specific) on social media". I took your suggestion and added a note to the graphic itself - honestly, it bothered me to post it.

It was a very creepy poster and at first I thought it was alleging some sort of “chemical” warfare alleged to have been committed by Israel. Thank you for clarifying the poster.

While I have had serious disagreements with Professor Chemerinsky over the years (I used to listen to him debate different hosts on radio talk shows in LA years ago), the way “activists” are behaving is beyond the pale. Are he and his wife partly to blame here? Likely, but nothing justifies this kind of crap by an alleged adult. I have also found Schadenfreude to be a very unhealthy indulgence personally. It is time to confront these little darlings with some serious legal consequences when they transgress.
