The scripture acknowledge that feeling anger when you have been insulted or wronged is natural but reminds each of us that we have the choice not to nurture it: “Be angry but sin not.” “Sin croucheth at the door but you must be master over it.”
The Left, by contrast, venerates rage and the continual cultivation of a perpetual sense of grievance. I believe this is part and parcel of its wholesale rejection if traditional values e.g. since the Bible forbids sexual immorality in all its forms therefore the left celebrates “sexual freedom” in every form no matter how perverted.
However the end result of embracing rage as a “virtue” is that leftists are perpetually in a state of rage and forever seeking occasions over which to vent their rage. This leads to continual hateful provocation, slander, lying, exaggeration and distorted views of reality. It probably also contributes to chronic hypertension, mental anguish, and personal misery and shortened longevity. So when the left insults or verbally lambasts you do not respond in kind but deflect it with humor or ask them “are you feeling well?” This heaps “fire upon their heads” and increases their rage without ever giving them the satisfaction of starting a fight.
