Connecticut has become a leftist shithole because men like Chris Murphy have spent a decade converting it into a propaganda lab. Murphy doesn’t argue facts—he manufactures hysteria. Every issue becomes a morality play, every enforcement action a fascist fever dream. He lies loudly, repeats it endlessly, then dares critics to disprove a caricature he invented. That’s not leadership; it’s agitprop. Connecticut taxpayers fund this circus while crime, decay, and out-migration accelerate. Murphy’s real talent isn’t legislating—it’s auditioning for MSNBC while torching credibility, civics, and common sense. When politics becomes crisis theater, truth is the first casualty—and Connecticut keeps paying the price.
I am so glad you wrote this. We saw him on Shannon Bream’s news show and I couldn’t believe the lies he was screeching. Even my husband was mentioning the lies and he never says anything.
In Russia, the Bolsheviks knew the power of slogans. They used and encouraged slogans even as they knew they would be abandoned at the first opportunity. "All power to the Soviets!" was used to gin up anti-Tsarist outrage. Once the tsarist regime was toppled, those local leaders of the "Soviets" were rounded up, disarmed and pushed aside. The liars and provocateurs like Senator Chris Murphy are like the Bolsheviks. The more emotion added to the powder keg the easier it is to trigger an explosion. The left wants martyrs. That's why they mount protests that go beyond the realm of civil disobedience into obstruction of justice. They will present themselves as the saviors of democracy even as their and actions speech undermine the critical institutions of our republic.
Thank you for spotlighting the lies of Chris Murphy, one of the worst members of Congress. His utter disregard for any form of honesty is the only thing impressive about him. Murphy is just an odious politician from the moment he wakes up each morning till he goes to sleep.
This is not reporting by the left - it is as you say propaganda - or as I see it being used - it's marketing to gin up votes for the midterms. It's also diversion from the main issues of theft and fraud which started this whole Minnesota thing going.
I lived in Minn for 5 years, even wrote/published a book about it. The town was Rosemount, Mn. what could be considered as a suburb of Minneapolis today. But back in my day (1970's) it was rural. Anyway, I still have many friends there and they tell me they do not like what is happening, and they essentially stay out of Minneapolis and St. Paul altogether.
This whole thing is being churned to garner vote - remember let no crisis go to waste - sound familiar? And I am glad you did not mention Don Lemon(aid) at all - he too helped with the churn.
My uncle owned spectro alloys in Rosemount and when we visited the flaming refinery pipes struck me as otherworldly
Trevor Loudon knows Minnesota politics and pointed out the Northeast corner and its reasons for voting deeply left/demorrhoid and he explained that the newly arrived Scandinavian communists gathered there
Trevor Loudon apparently also knows Connecticut politics: "How a tiny communist party took over the politics of a whole American state": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_P8VfdukAI
I’ve seen plenty of videos of protesters stopping people and demanding to see ID as proof of their not being ICE agents. The irony and hypocrisy of this is beyond belief.
A very intended effort to give someone like Murphy a humanistic appearance. But Murphy falls way short of the effort. More and more each day Murphy sounds like manure salesman with a mouth full of samples!
I share your opinion/reaction to Murphy. All I need to fall asleep (or sadly keep me awake!)--instead of counting sheep--is to count the Far Left Congressional liars that constitute this REGRESSIVE Party. But he certainly tops the list. Schumer is a strong contender for that top-of-list--as is Chris Von Hollen.

Exactly my thoughts - this was on TV where I was, and I stopped and listened and was astonished at the lies.
"Panic porn" nails the progressive communications strategy.
Expecting truth from radical progressives is like expecting blood from a stone.
Regressives.

Every time a Democrat opens their mouth it is a lie!

He’s dangerous.
Completely agree. I grew up in CT and find him an embarrassment.

GoodLawgic, aka lawyer Joe Nierman, has used a phrase that I think applies here.
Mr. Murphy's comments "have the taint of mendacity."
Sometimes obfuscation of an insult strikes deeper.
It's my favorite insult right now.
The power of vocabulary.
Same meaning.
