This is exactly it—the battlefield isn’t just political anymore, it’s perceptual. The left and its media ecosystem don’t just argue—they construct a hyper-reality where narrative outruns fact, and repetition replaces truth. People start reacting to what feels real instead of what is real. That’s how you get the windmill tilts—fighting illusions while the actual ground shifts beneath you. The antidote isn’t louder counter-narratives—it’s exposure to reality, consistently and unapologetically. Facts have to be lived, not just stated. Because once reality reasserts itself, the illusion doesn’t debate—it collapses. And that’s when the tide finally turns.
More like 237 years of failure. Rousseau and the French Enlightenment were philosophically and the French Revolution was politically the beginning of it.
While I feel these points are all accurate, I think there's one component missing....human temperament. Some personality types, one holding some degree of power and control over others, and often the adulation of many, refuse to change their ways. If they happen to hold the right kind of power they will not be stopped. They think themselves immune. I think we are witnessing that in Iran, and I suppose, with enough fire power they can be "stopped" too, but at what horrible cost in the process.
Excellent points. Why don't we speak up? Is it because we have no access to the source of the issue? Does it start out as "not my business?". Look at the "trans" movement. We should have spoken up as a it was beginning, not being complacent and since we didn't, it is out of control.
Right now they’re surviving because dark money is being pumped into every foolish and dangerous leftist cause and Communist organization. Look at high two-digit millions being pumped into Virginia to disenfranchise half our electorate.
I’m not so sure that just voting for someone good, is a winning strategy over the evil that’s metastasizing in America today. It’s not that I don’t think that conservatives can’t win, it’s just that Americans in great numbers would have to get off their lazy asses and actually say enough is enough. It’s as though people are waiting for someone else to step up to the plate and say no more.
These are not the same democrats that were elected twenty years ago. Just listening to them tells me they are all bat shit crazy. And until the sane population are prepared to stand up to those who threaten violence this country will continue its downward spiral. These idiots will run this country into the ground! Then blame republicans for it.
Why do people do evil things? Because they can. The path of least resistance, the fall line, is the default pathway for all events. As momentum builds, so does inertia, resistance to a change in direction. No further input of energy or motivation is necessary to continue the line of descent. The input of energy necessary to change or counter the line of descent increases with the difference of the vector change from the path of least resistance and with the lenth of time the pathway has been followed.
Why do humans do beneficial things? Because there is a God Who empowers us and Who desires us to choose the harder path for the strengthening of our character and our Faith in Him. The opposite of doing evil is not doing good; it is turning to God and accepting His Grace.

I was doing that math, too. Thank you.

By “Communist organization” I mean virtue-signaling nonprofit organization.
Call bullshit on 'em, and Judge Boasberg or one of his fellow-travellers will put your ass in stir.

What's that saying, that it only takes good men to do nothing to allow evil to prevail?
