Yep. I adored Trey Gowdy until I finally realized he was all talk, but there was no action. The president is surrounded, mostly, by people with action, and darned good ones. We need the same kind of people in Congress. And all of the great EOs need to be enacted into law so that they can't be undone, at least not without a majority of Democrats (and, hopefully, America isn't foolish enough to fill Congress with them!).
Implosions are not always immediate ... often the foundations weaken as precursors. I believe the foundations of progressivism are crumbling. Patience and steadfastness are the order of our time.
It is daunting to see such apathy from the people who are supposed to back Trump's play and get the legislation complete to insure the changes stick. One wonders how much they're paid or what skeletons they have in their respective closets. Lindsey Gramnesty will never impress me as anything other than a pilot fish looking for the shark de jure. I did think Gowdy was the real deal, but he managed to quit before he got to prove his alleged beliefs. Jim Jordan is just another stupid man who got elected and brings home the bacon, so the sheeple keep electing him.
We need new blood worse than the Democrats. The only reason we win is because of Trump's cachet and bootstraps, and when he's not running anymore, although we have plenty of competent people, we don't have a personality.
I believe (and recommend) that Trump take a page out of Obama's (spitting noise) playbook and stay involved after his term, acting as the kingmaker he is. Let the Demorats run commies. We should run MAGA until the left chokes on it.
Get back to us when Obama,Biden, garland,Mayorkas, Wray, McCabe have been arrested or at least had their passports confiscated. If thus doesn’t happen, Trump will have shot at the king … and missed. And America will be over.
