The only possible salvation for the Democrats lies in conservatives’ tendency to splinter themselves while the Democrats will hang together and hold their nose to vote for someone they detest in order to hold onto power. How often have we seen supposed ideological purists sabotage an otherwise likely Republican win because of some abstruse difference of opinion on some issue? Tea Party candidates knock out supposed RINO incumbents in the primaries only then to lose to more experienced Democrat politicos in the general election. As for the chaos at the southern border we can thank Paul Ryan for that as much as blaming Biden. The GOP must avoid snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I don't think Democrats ever consider the consequences of their actions —whether something like these, or in their policies. I'm sometimes amazed (not in a good way) at how many people still fall for their BS.
