Three Rules of Progressive Postmodernist History
For some, history is a bit more flexible.
There are inherent contradictions created by the potion of postmodernist progressivism - of which the American Democrats have imbibed deeply.
It is as if Harry Potter was carrying the horcrux of Harry Reid.
These are the people who claim not to understand why people who don't vote for them are "voting against their own interest" when it is they who are.
As regards history, there are three rules for "history".
The first rule for this cabal is that history is not discrete and complete, it begins at whatever point most advantages whatever point they are trying to make - and if that point changes, so does the historical launch point. I always laughed at the use of the words “unprecedented,” “unexpected,” and “unique” to explain events during the two unfortunate Obama administrations when those same challenges were faced by the George W. Bush’s administration that immediately preceded Obama. Some of the “unprecedented” situations of Obama’s second term happened during his first term.
The second is that if the historical narrative is harmful to their opponent, Rule 1 does not apply. “History” can go back to 10,000 BC if necessary. Republicans are blamed for slavery in America when slavery was ended by the president who represented the party that was formed for the abolition of slavery in America. American fought a Civil War that resulted in the end of slavery but for the purpose of creating an original sin that forever stains America, Democrats go to 1619 (they created a project for it) and ignore the thousands of years of slavery that came before.
The third rule is that if either Rule 1 or Rule 2 does not sufficiently satisfy their needs, wants or desires, they can just make it up. This is perhaps the most abused rule. For example, the Democrats are still talking about the “fine people” and “losers and suckers” smears of Trump, both of which have been debunked for literally years. In conversations with local Democrats, I find that about a half to two thirds of what they know about Trump is made up – it is Democrat mythmaking. He gave tax breaks to the rich, when the truth is the middle class got the largest tax cuts. Trump is a Putin stooge and Russia interfered in the 2016 election, when the Mueller investigation more or less found that Hillary’s campaign had more contact with the Russians than Trump and there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians.
Democrats have constructed a party based on lies, misrepresentations and fabrications.
That's not quite fair because the lying is a progressive postmodernist thing, not necessarily a Democrat thing - but as noted, contemporary Democrats are progressive postmodernists.
They are not people to be believed, and if they are not to be believed, they cannot be trusted.

Yep, they've proven time and again that they cannot be trusted. They will say/do ANYTHING to win... lie, cheat or steal. 😡
... "They are not people to be believed, and if they are not to be believed, they cannot be trusted." EVER AGAIN !!
