The Tur-ing Test
Bill Maher calls out the lunatic left and MSNBC's Katy Tur is called a "Trump apologist".
Enemies are dangerous, but the enemies who pretend to be your friends are even more so.
I watch people of the left like Bill Maher castigate the loonies on his side with some degree of pleasure even though I know he is not doing it because he identifies with conservatives, it is because he knows that these far-left characters are insane and damaging to his side.
Billy knows even as they proclaim to be on his side, the lunatics are damaging the Democrat team.
Tonight I watched a clip of Katy Tur, MSNBC Trump hater, get called a Trump apologist by Nancy Pelosi for correcting Pelosi’s clam that Biden created fifteen million jobs. Tur noted that most of those were people going back to work after the pandemic shutdowns and San Fran Nan’s dentures came unglued.
I think Tur did that, not to correct Pelosi, but from her perch in the newsroom, she sees lies like this (and others told by Biden Democrats) are hurting a cause Tur supports. Tur is certainly not a Trump apologist and in fact, she appears to hate him – but she is trying to message Pelosi and her batshit cray-cray base that maybe telling lies that are as obvious as a cannibal eating Uncle Bosie might not be the way to go.
As we approach November, the lying is intensifying, but with a twist. They are demanding that you ignore the lies and accept them as the truth, no matter how ridiculous they are. Here is a little social experiment you can do at home. Watch fifteen minutes of MSNBC the first week of the month, then watch fifteen minutes the first week of next month and compare the progression. Based on my calculations, by October Peppermint Patty Psaki will be claiming if Trump wins, he will turn every American into werewolves.
They are constantly saying, “That thing we are not doing, we really are doing, and it is both necessary and spectacular!”
In the movie, “The Usual Suspects, Roger “Verbal” Kint (portrayed by Kevin Spacey) said:
“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.”
Verbal was speaking of the infamous Keyser Soze – the mythical crime boss in the movie who was everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
The left and their enablers in the media are going all Keyser Soze on America, demanding that you not see and hear what you see and hear, to believe BLM is peaceful, people protecting themselves from violent thugs like ANTIFA constitute “right-wing violence”, violent crime isn’t rising, that DEI is not racist, there is no two-tiered justice system, cultural Marxism doesn’t exist, and people who clamor for socialism aren’t really socialists.
When I hear any Democrat talk about what a threat the members of “extreme MAGA” are to “democracy, I hear the famous line delivered by Queen Gertrude in Shakespeare’s Hamlet in my head – “The lady doth protest too much, methinks” – and methinks they also have a pretty fungible definition of “democracy” as well.
Their “democracy” seems to include a lot of stuff that really does not seem all that democratic to me. Trying to get members of their own party kicked off the primary ballots, twisting the Constitution to take Trump off the ballot, calling free speech dangerous, claiming anything not helpful to them is “disinformation” and should be censored does not feel like a true democratic perspective.
The worst victims?
The members of their own party, especially the ones who believe the lies only harm the people on the political right.
We know better.
When a random act of stating a fact brings about such a response, it's easy to see that Dems are Worried (yes, with a capital 'W').
Yep!
