The Show Must Go On
MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle talks to the next Democrat marionette. It does not go well.
I watched Harris' "interview" with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle this morning so you don’t have to.
Since Ruhle is a Harris/Walz cheerleader and MSNBC is the official "Vote Blue No Matter Who" network, I didn't expect much.
Let us say I was not disappointed.
It was a cacophony of dumb on the verge of becoming a Monty Python skit.
It would be funny if it weren't so serious.
Harris is inarticulate, she repeats themes, words, and phrases that I am sure were focus grouped - and that her campaign handlers have told her to work in as many times as possible. Periodically, her face and mannerisms indicate how pleased she is with herself after repeating nonsensical and empty phrases.
She thinks she looks smart.
Harris is also clueless the answers her interviewers are begging her to give are almost always in the questions she is being asked. It is embarrassing that she is given multiple-choice questions where any of the answers are preferable to the rambling non-answers she gives.
Ruhle used to be a business correspondent and if you watch her face, you can see her obvious disappointment in Harris' answers. Ruhle does her best to hide it, but if you watch her eyes, you can see it.
Ruhle's eyes are pleading, "Please say something smart! Just this once! Please! Just one thing! Help me out here!"
It reminds me of an adult interviewing a child when the child goes off on a complete tangent and starts talking about dinosaurs.
Ruhle explained it all on Bill Maher's show last Friday when argued against the necessity of interviews or substantive answers from Harris in the Democratic nominee’s bid for the presidency. She made the case that the only issue that should be of concern to voters is that she’s not Donald Trump.
Ruhle said:
"Kamala Harris isn’t running for perfect. She’s running against Trump. We have two choices. And so, there are some things you might not know her answer to. And in 2024, unlike 2016, for a lot of the American people, we know exactly what Trump will do, who he is and the kind of threat he is to democracy.”
Curious that they never define what “threat to democracy” means.
But we know these are just scare words directed to the feeble minded.
At least Ruhle is honest in acknowledging that Harris is not someone you vote for, that her entire purpose is to capture the votes of people who hate and loathe the caricature the media has created of Donald Trump.
There you go.
We have already had four years of "Not Trump" featuring a mentally decrepit husk of a man, a marionette who was manipulated by a cabal of highly placed Democrats – until he was no longer useful.
Now that this cabal found a way to shiv Biden and puncture his spotted liver, they want Harris to continue their puppet show. The show must go on.
In a mocking tone, Ruhle replied to Bret Stephens on Maher’s show that Harris should not be expected to answer tough questions because it would be Nirvana if she did, saying:
“I would just say to that, when you move to Nirvana, give me your real estate broker’s number and I’ll be your next-door neighbor. We don’t live there.”
Harris' only "qualification" is that she is not Trump – but she is a 55-gallon drum of awful.
"... she is a 55-gallon drum of awful." At a minimum !!
Cackles is a poster girl for the Dunning-Krueger Effect.
