The Scourge of Minoritarianism
A deluded minority believes their delusions can be resolved by forcing the greater society to participate in that delusion.
Yesterday, I was shaken to see a video of a protest where a young woman stood in front of a pro-life sign and screamed "We love killing babies!"
Wow.
Even if you are screaming those words for dramatic effect, there is clearly some sociopathy there.
When someone calls abortion "healthcare", "reproductive rights" or “reproductive freedom”, it is a sure bet that person has never thought deeply or spiritually about what the act of abortion really is.
Abortion is a complete denial of humanity and the absolute denial of human worth. It is a death cult constructed of an inconvenient truth - a fetus is a baby and a baby is a living human.
When a human male and female copulate, they create a life, not a “clump of cells”. To think otherwise is to delude.
Since so much of our contemporary society is built on a foundation of delusion, I guess it is not surprising to hear such things.
We live in an age where the solution to the problems of an individual are thought to be solved by forcing the greater society to participate in that delusion. They call that "acceptance", I call it tyranny of the minority.
This minoritarianism has made it substantially more difficult to live a life dedicated to liberty as the grievance and pressure groups gain control over society and government and begin to dictate their brand of secular relativist and statist religion to the majority of America.
The left is now upset that the Supreme Court is looking to the limits placed on it by the clear language of the Constitution and finding that it doesn’t have the authority to make some of the decisions it has made in its activist past.
We hear all the time about the concept of “freedom” and how that means that we must tolerate every belief system under the sun (not only tolerate, but protect and promote), that no beliefs are better than others and even if there are absolutes, what right do we have so even say so? Heaven forbid that we might hurt someone’s feelings.
The concept of “freedom” does not mean anarchy…yet that is the connotation that it has taken on. We are told that for us to be truly “free”, we must accept contemporary social mores that include the 60’s mantra of “If it feels good, do it”. We must accept that the Declaration and the Constitution don’t mean what they clearly state – that the “intent” changes based on the wants and desires of the society at the time.
The Constitution and the Declaration are more than just the basis of our country and its laws, they are statements of universal principles based on Natural Law.
Natural Law presupposes that man has an inner sense of good and evil, that standards of morality are in some sense derived from, or entailed by, the nature of the world and the nature of human beings and that moral propositions have objective standing in the sense that such propositions are the bearers of objective truth-value; that is, moral propositions can be objectively true or false.
So you can understand why the relativists in today’s society reject both religion and thesis that the Constitution is based on religious tenets because both are descriptions of the concept of self-restraint or self-control – that man has it within himself to govern himself to prevent violations of moral codes.
The basis for so many ills of society today is the fallacy that man cannot control himself – that he cannot overcome his urge to procreate, to commit crimes, to lie, cheat and steal – the brilliant answer that society came up with?
Do it if it feels good. Deal with it after the fact.
How else can we explain:
Abortion
Government regulation
Laws for every conceivable action or behavior
Don’t believe me? Try this little thought experiment, answer these questions:
American society recognizes that murder is morally and legally wrong. How many murders that have been committed in spite of this fact?
Gun control laws are written to stop the use of guns in crimes. This is also known to the American people. How many guns are used in the commission of crimes?
There is a great exercise in substitution underway. We are substituting external controls (laws and regulations) for internal controls (a conscience based on morality). Like a law enforcement perspective of the war on terror, they only serve to punish after an act and are only considered by the people who follow the rules, the law abiding citizens. Criminals don’t care – if they did they wouldn’t be called criminals.
There will be those who say that because I mentioned abortion that I am one of those crazy right wingers who is afraid of sex, wants to ban it and take away women’s “reproductive freedom”.
Shockingly enough, I am not. What I am saying is that people must have enough internal governance to understand that the potential end product of coitus could well be another human being and if they don’t want to accept that responsibility, they probably should seek alternative relief.
As much as society reinforces that we are nothing but a bunch of rutting animals, we don’t have to be. That is a choice, not a certainty of nature.
To be governed, or to have the right to govern others, we must be able to govern ourselves.
Speaking of the minority, there seems to be a concerted effort to make everyone believe the majority is just another ‘clump’ of people, not what it is - a good sized majority. Every bank ad in Canada shows a lesbian couple. EVERY SINGLE AD. And most commercials show this. They also show mixed race couples, and black couples. So almost every ad shows a lesbian couple, a black couple, a mixed race couple, and a white couple. The man of the white couple is ALWAYS a total doofus. The female banker and the wife are doing the serious work. The husband might as well be wearing a beanie with a twirler on it and have some crayons in front of him. This scene is showed 90% of the time. I am a landlord in a downtown area. I’ve built high rise rental Buildings and condo buildings. More gays live downtown Than in the burbs, or live in small towns. So the percent of gay customers I have is likely higher than the general population. In a 206 unit condo building I think I sold three to gay male Couples. I don’t think any lesbian couples bought. I might have one lesbian couple in a 137 unit rental building. I have a couple of gay male couples. Almost no mixed race couples. I can’t recall any. My son married a black woman from Africa. Other than him no half white, half black couples pop to mind. There aren’t a ton of blacks in Canada. But mostly Asians marry Asians, Filipinos marry Filipinas etc. I asked my friend who owns a big furniture store how many gay or lesbian couples come into his store a week. He said off the top of his head maybe one couple every two weeks. And he gets between 100 and 200
Couples a week. IOW there is a
Concerted effort to make us believe something is happening that isn’t. As far as trans? I see the odd trans person but inhave yet to sell Or rent to any. And by that I mean I don’t get any trans walking in to sales rooms or filling out rental
Apps.
Great food for thought.. thank you!
