The Paper Chase
There's no greater example of inequality under the law than the very different ways very similar document handling issues have been handled with respect to these two presidents.
Democrats have a remarkable talent Republicans simply do not possess.
It is the ability to “once remove” themselves from any issue, policy, or crime.
Look at Biden vs. Trump in the realm of classified documents.
Democrats allege President Trump removed classified documents with his own tiny, short-fingered vulgarian hands, knowingly doing what he did, with the intent of selling them to Russia and never admitted to anyone that he had them and that is why he kept them in a locked closet with Secret Service all around.
Execute him for treason say lefties like Rob “Meathead” Reiner.
Biden is once removed from the documents because he didn’t know about them and didn’t intend to do anything bad with them even if he knew and as soon as he knew he turned Boy Scout and called a foul on himself. He so didn’t know they were there, he kept them in several unsecured locations, including in his garage with his Corvette.
Nothing to see here.
So, Trump’s home gets raided even though the National Archives knew exactly where the documents were and that they were under a lock and key specified by them and Biden’s lawyers (without security clearances) get to look for more documents at their leisure and we are just supposed to take their word for it. The DOJ is so convinced of their righteousness, they won’t even supervise the search. Total hands-off.
Not really equality treatment under the law, seems to me.
With Republicans, the Deep State becomes proctologists, willing to examine every orifice, with Democrats, they look away. The palace guards in the media claim there is no evidence of wrongdoing even though they refuse to investigate.
So, let’s you and me look at what we know and what is readily available to general public.
For the past six years, President Trump has undergone constant investigation by the DOJ, an independent counsel, several House and Senate committees (including the J6 committee that sought to get him on charges of “insurrection” and prevent him from running in 2024), two attempted impeachments (one after he left office), the USAG’ office in the Southern District of New York, the entire staff of the District Attorney’s office in New York State and various state level agencies, and he has had his private tax records illegally released by the formerly Democrat controlled Ways and Means Committee – and what have any of them found in relation to illegal foreign dealings that would indicate intent to sell classified documents?
Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
According to Joy Behar, “We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief, you know, we know that, so it’s not that big a jump to say he obstructed, and he lied. We don’t think Biden is a liar and a thief we give him the benefit of the doubt.”
Trump had bad intentions, Biden can’t form a cohesive thought and being non compos mentis, has no intentions at all; therefore, Trump bad, Scranton Joey good.
So obviously, based on the Behar Standard (which was invented by the Supreme Court in 1848), Trump is guilty, Biden is not.
But…
There’s the missing money in Ukraine from 2016 – nearly two billion of US taxpayer money disappeared while Lunch Bucket Joe was Obama’s Ukrainian point man. There was Hunter’s laptop with reams of damaging information, corroborated by external sources that indicate the “Big Guy” was in for ten percent of Hunter’s deals with Russia, China and Ukraine. There’s Hunter’s trips on Air Force Two with Joey to China. There’s James Biden’ no-bid awards for construction in Iraq. There’s Biden threatening to withhold six billion in aid to Ukraine unless Zelenskyy fired a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, the company paying Hunter almost a million dollars a year to be on their board, despite Hunter knowing nothing about how to run a company or the natural gas markets.
There’s the January 7th, 2017 meeting at the White House where Biden allegedly suggests a coverup in which key officials would be tasked with protecting his administration’s utilization of secretly funded Clinton campaign research, which alleged Trump was involved in a treasonous plot to collude with Russia, from being discovered or stopped by the incoming administration. It’s also alleged he was behind the Michael Flynn set-up and persecution by the FBI.
There are the years out of office from 2017 to 2021 where he raked in over seventeen million in income, including nearly a million a year from his no-show “professorship” at Penn while his “think tank” allowed Penn to garner nearly sixty million in “donations” from CCP linked Chinese companies.
Then there’s his history of lying and alleged sexual misconduct when he was in the Senate.
And now the Biden administration has shoveled over a hundred billion in aid to Ukraine with zero accountability. Who, besides me, suspects some percentage of that will find its way back to Democrat Party coffers?
So, maybe Joy Behar is off target a bit.
Maybe the facts lead us to believe Biden is MORE likely than Trump to be engaged in dirty dealing.
Maybe there is ample reason to take a look.
Compared to B*d*n, Nixon WAS NOT A CROOK.
Willful ignorance (or perhaps simple denial - whether psychological or literal) seems to be a requirement for entrance into the Democrat party or registration as a Democrat voter. Projection, pathological lying, delusion, all are part and parcel of the membership package. The deception they promulgate on the public is akin to the Soma used in Brave New World to quell the masses into compliance. We have skipped far past Atlas Shrugged, 1984, Farenheit 451 and the likes. We are living in a dystopia that none of those brilliant authors could even possibly have imagined.
