The Pacification of America
There is reason to believe America is being pacified by an opposing force. The patterns are there if we care to look.
Yesterday, I asked this question: “Is America an occupied nation?”
Given that the Sussman trial proves the Democrat party now controls every aspect of our government, including the administration of justice (the disclosure the FBI maintained a secret office inside Perkins Coie, the powerhouse Democrat law firm, since 2008, and a text between FBI lawyer James Baker and Sussman revealing Sussman, a non-government employee had an FBI badge!), it seems a good question to ask.
I think it is time to consider that we are. Let’s look at a few facts about the actions of the Biden regime (most beginning under the Obama regime):
Conducts economic warfare on the citizens designed to reduce or eliminate their ability to produce for themselves, rendering them poor, compliant, and dependent upon the occupier
Bends over backwards to please enemies while ignoring friends (something for which Obama was famous), seeks partnerships with regimes professing a desire to destroy America and bypasses the treaty process to bind the country with “agreements” (reengaging in the Iran deal and the Paris Accords)
Provides funding and access to programs and services for non-citizens from which citizens are barred (de facto decriminalization of illegal immigration and recently announced millions of dollars of programs for legal services for illegal aliens)
Conducts propaganda based psychological warfare against citizens (the economy is great, and you are all racists)
Seeks to destroy historical achievements of America by propagandizing them as evil (WWII soldiers were racists, the Founders were just slave owning rich white men, the nation was founded on slavery, etc.)
Protects its agents and collaborators from legal jeopardy (Hillary, Sussman, McCabe, Comey, the two lawyers who firebombed a police car during a BLM riot in NYC, and so on and so on)
Promotes and facilitates criminal activity among the occupied to keep them too busy to notice what the occupiers are doing (bail “reform” and the refusal to prosecute certain crimes)
Conducts “investigations” and prosecutions designed to punish rather than adjudicate (J6 Committee)
Conducts Kafkaesque show trials and Maoist struggle sessions (J6 protestors being forced to publicly disavow President Trump as part of plea deals)
Imprisons political enemies (the arrests of Roger Stone and Peter Navarro)
Seeks to disarm the public (“sensible and common sense” gun control)
Used “public health” laws and regulations during the “pandemic” to restrict private travel and the conduct of commerce and mandated inoculations
Glenn Reynolds, the blogfather of Instapundit fame and a University of Tennessee Law professor, said:
“As I’ve noted before, our elites are now promoting the kind of history one would impose on a conquered nation, to break its people’s spirit.”
Conquering powers typically must pacify a conquered state after any major conflict. From the time of the Romans all the way to WWII, the steps are fairly common:
The conquered nation is disarmed, and its armed forces are either disbanded or reconstituted under a charter authored by the conqueror.
The conquered people are shown the horrors and destruction committed in the name of their regime.
The regime’s political party is declared illegal and former members of that party are excluded from positions in governance of the occupied country.
Schools and colleges are re-tasked to re-educate adults. Unrepentant teachers and professors are replaced or retrained, and new textbooks are written.
The press, radio, and films are taken over by the conqueror and tasked with the dissemination of the approved messages.
The conquered nation is divided into zones or districts to prevent reconstitution of the opposition.
Those aspects of pacification of a conquered people are not unique, but what is unique in the pacification of America is that they are being carried out through complete propaganda rather than as a fact of war.
Rather than the reality, the Biden administration is using Stalinist tactics of lies, propaganda and agitprop as a basis for “pacification”.
In 1956, Nikita Khrushchev uttered the oft misunderstood quote “We will bury, you!” speaking of the eventual defeat of democracy and capitalism. On August 24, 1963, Khrushchev himself remarked, “I once said, ‘We will bury you,’ and I got into trouble with it. Of course, we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you.” – a reference to the Marxist saying, “The proletariat is the undertaker of capitalism”.
I once thought such a thing was an impossibility. Never could the American people be their own undertaker – but I was wrong.
No matter how many times the attempts at collectivism fail; the totalitarian power it reveals in the wake of the attempt has a seductive attraction some simply cannot resist. It appeals to the worst in men and to the worst of men.
As F.A. Hayek noted:
“There are strong reasons for believing that what to us appear the worst features of totalitarian systems are not accidental byproducts but phenomena which totalitarianism is certain to sooner or later produce.”
You can never discount the seductive power of total control. The Democrat Party drank deep from that cup and as we slept in a feather bed of prosperity, they were infiltrating every single nook and cranny of government, embedding themselves like the blood-sucking ticks they are.
Historian Robert Conquest proposed that any organization not expressly right wing will eventually become left wing and a time will come when the country appears to be controlled by a cabal of its enemies.
In my view, the America of 2022 faces a slow-moving pacification through use of our own laws and institutions.
The question is not whether we will recognize that fact, but how we will deal with it.
The Pacification of America
There is no doubt we are under "enemy" occupation and are slowly but surely losing our country. The question is, do we have the will and the strength to take it back?
It's not a surprise that the Democrats did everything they could to undermine the Trump Presidency in light of your writing today.
