The criticism and polarized commentary about Mr. Musk, including about this heartfelt event, confirms for me that there are many in our midst who just want to exist as opposed to everything good and feel mean about themselves.

The far left seems to have made a cult out of emotionalism. As if the louder you scream or “emote” proves that your opinions are more “authentic” than those that are more rationally argued. Hence all the histrionic screaming as a form of protest against Trump’s winning the election.

They've go nothing else and are angry... HOW DARE Elon see the light and understand how useless their ideology is! He's a quirky geek but now he's our quirky geek and we like him.

I think more than anything Elon has found his "tribe" His mom says he wasn't very popular earlier in life. I'm sure many kids found him strange. He actually is a little strange but most geniuses are. He has found people who actually accept him and many really like him...not for his money but just because he seems to be a good guy.

The left just can't stand his enthusiastic expression to his new found friends.

I salute you Michael, and it's not a Nazi salute! I have seen the video's and the follow-on postings, salutes made by many a politician and more. I would have to say that the 'follow-on' postings showed that AOC, Hillary C, B.O. and singer Taylor S. were all giving a more realistic Nazi salute! Are they all Nazi's too???

Oh, well, maybe the Dems/Leftist media are projecting again!

I saw your post. I have avoided posting much of anything on LinkedIn for much the same reasons. Sadly if you are posting anything online it can affect your job opportunities. It is common practice to do a search with many companies asking for your screen names. Omission can mean dismissal or loss of security clearances. So, much like the W.O.M.P.E.R. The only real choice is not to play.

You're bold to engage on this on LinkedIn. Reid Hoffman, having as his raison d' etre the total destruction of Donald Trump, has made LI unhospitable for conservative speech there. Quite a few have been cancelled for making the effort. Good on you!!

Another large group on LI is the unreasoning, logic-challenged, and ad hominem launchers...

Here's a piece of a poem I read elsewhere for those folks:

"We would rather be ruined than changed.

We would rather die in our dread

Than climb the cross of the moment

And let our illusions die."

THIS is the challenge we face in engaging with them.
