The Most Secure Election Ever
I've been told this is true when a Democrat wins. I remain skeptical.
Tis the season...
It is that time of year when the air is crisp, when some chads are pregnant, and others are just barely hanging on waiting for the next breeze to detach them and let them fall to the counting room floor. It is the joyous time of year when the Democrat controlled Department of Justice begins the celebrations with lawsuits against the states that have been trying to clean up their voter rolls so that the dead don’t have to vote and can rest in peace.
You can almost smell the election records burning!
It is just a little over two weeks until Election Day!
When I hear a member of the media, a pundit, a politician or an elected official say: "There is no evidence of widespread election fraud", what I think is:
"We are not really looking for fraud."
"It may be happening but if it is, it is a very small percentage."
"We can't admit to the public there is a problem because it would undermine the confidence in the result."
What I hear in my head is what the old Tennessee gunsmith, Mr. Rate, told Bob Lee Swagger in the movie "Shooter" about the government:
"They also said that artificial sweeteners were safe, and WMDs were in Iraq and Anna Nicole married for love!"
None of these three responses are acceptable to me as a citizen who doesn't want his vote cancelled by an illegitimate vote.
I know, at least statistically, there is fraud. In a system that collects 160+ million votes, there will undoubtably will be - there is just no possibility every vote is clean because the controls to assure it are just not there. Constitutionally, each state has the responsibility to carry out elections, so there is bound to be variability in processes.
Pennsylvania had some significant changes both in the legislative processes leading up to the election and short-term variations allegedly due to Covid.
Election officials tend to focus on the counts and recounts but counting a ballot that has been submitted illegally and then recounting the same ballot will never yield a difference. I believe the problem is with the ballot BEFORE it is submitted, not during the count. The effort to hold clean elections must start BEFORE the vote is cast - primarily assuring that the person casting the vote is the person on the voting roll and is eligible to vote.
To me, that seems so simple.
I get that mail in voting is convenient, but I just can't shake the uncertainty factor of it. I like the good old days when you had to qualify for an absentee ballot by filling out a form and presenting identification to prove who you were.
As thin as our elections are now, a few hundred votes in the right county could (and seemingly did in 2020) swing a national election.
I said it in 2020, and I remain of that mind, I have no evidence that the 2020 vote was corrupt, but on the other hand, no official presented evidence that it was not. What I do know is that there were unusual occurrences that happened, no satisfactory explanation was ever given, and a massive effort was mounted to prevent anyone from even looking (most of the court cases - including direct filings with SCOTUS were batted down for lack of "standing").
I hope Trump wins bigly enough to beat the cheat. I believe when he wins, we will find out how unhinged the left truly is - but if the victory is narrow, we will really see the depths of their psychosis.
The party starts on November 5th.
Make your vote count.

Surprisingly, my state of NY still requires an excuse for absentee voting. I had no problem requesting it over the phone, but I've been registered in my county for more than a decade. What we don't do is ask for ID at the actual poll. But, generally, our laws had been pretty good until 2020 when we decided that ballot boxes and early voting was a thing.
I really hope for a landslide, but I doubt it. "TDS" is too real. I expect Trump to win (okay, I'm probably just hoping), and various types of riots from the left in Congress and in the streets.
The very same gaslighting extremists (that is, every mainstream Democrat) who shout from the rooftops that 2020 was the most safe & secure election in history will be the first & loudest to squeal the next time a Republican wins—hopefully in about two weeks.
As I shared recently with Gov. Spencer Cox & LG Deidre Henderson, election integrity demands not merely free & fair elections, but also integrity & transparency. Even here in Utah, we are sorely lacking in at least two probably three of these essentials.
