The Geese are Honking
When key institutions are controlled, majority public support is no longer necessary. Democrats are currently in power, and their agenda has the support of the Deep State and the globalists.
Thinking a lot lately about the concept of "stable disequilibrium", especially considering Biden’s new Disinformation Governance Board and the appointment of Nina Jankowicz, literally a leftist loon, as the administration’s Reich Minister of Propaganda.
Stable disequilibrium is the idea that imbalances in systems can be sustainable for a period, that chaos is manageable within certain limits, but once it reaches a tipping point, the stable part goes away and all that is left is disequilibrium.
Think of how a goose seems calm as it gracefully glides on the surface of a lake - even though under the surface, its feet are kicking furiously. When something startles it, and all hell breaks loose – warnings are loudly honked, webbed feet dig into the water, wings start to flap, and eventually the bird takes flight.
In real terms, it can be successfully argued that America’s economy has been in a state of stable disequilibrium since the mortgage bubble burst in late 2008 and the “rescue” of the big banks began a decades long raid on the US Treasury. To a large extent, any stability our economy has experienced has been through massive increases in federal debt, the devaluing of our currency and the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates at artificial lows.
Man, that goose is honking pretty loud right now.
Earnest Hemingway probably described stable disequilibrium best in his 1926 novel, "The Sun Also Rises". In it, Mike Campbell was asked, "How did you go bankrupt?".
His answer?
“Two ways, gradually and then suddenly.”
Economies collapse like that. Countries, too.
A few months ago, I finished a book titled Hitler’s True Believers: How Ordinary People Became Nazis. In it, author Robert Gellately repeatedly makes the point that Hitler did not drag an unwilling nation into militaristic, antisemitic dictatorship, in fact, the plebiscite on Nazi rule held in November of 1933 drew 95.1% in favor of it.
I don’t claim to present this history to link any American to Nazism, I do so to point out the process by which Germany fell into radicalism with the approval of her people and how like our contemporary situation is to Germany of the early 1930’s.
The German people were won over by ideas, employment, housing and rallies and parades across Germany, but even then, as Gellately wrote that no historian believes that Germany was already so homogenized that all “yes” voters had the same motives or meanings. Motives varied from “ecstatic agreement to sullen assent.”
Germany of the 1930’s was one of Europe’s most educated and cultured nations, a center of arts and sciences, but many Germans felt lingering anger over Germany’s defeat in WWI, the lopsided Versailles treaty, the 1918 revolution that replaced the Kaiser with a republic based out of Weimar, the subsequent Weimar Republic’s flailing democracy and social chaos, and eventually, the famous runaway inflation that followed.
Gellately described what followed in the context of Mike Campbell’s, gradually/suddenly paradigm. He noted “the larger picture people faced from 1933 onward was the shocking suddenness with which Hitler, the National Socialists, and their allies changed a parliamentary democracy into a one-party dictatorship, and an open civil society into one that became increasingly closed.”
One of the major initiatives that led to the “suddenly” part of the gradual transformation of Germany and its people was Hitler’s takeover of the press and its use to create panic within the minds of Germans.
When Hitler took power in 1933, the Nazis controlled less than three percent of Germany’s 4,700 papers. By July of 1933, almost all opposition political parties were abolished through the Enabling Act and hundreds of newspapers produced by outlawed political parties were shuttered. The Enabling Act also allowed the state to seize the printing plants and equipment of the Communist and Social Democratic Parties, which were often turned over directly to the Nazi Party. In the following months, the Nazis established control or exerted influence over independent press organs.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum notes:
“In early 1933, the Nazi regime deployed the radio, press, and newsreels to stoke fears of a pending “Communist uprising,” then channeled popular anxieties into political measures that eradicated civil liberties and democracy. SA (Storm Troopers) and members of the Nazi elite paramilitary formation, the SS, took to the streets to brutalize or arrest political opponents and incarcerate them in hastily established detention centers and concentration camps. Nazi thugs broke into remaining opposing political party offices, destroying printing presses and newspapers.
Sometimes using holding companies to disguise new ownership, executives of the Nazi Party-owned publishing house, Franz Eher, established a huge empire that drove out competition and purchased newspapers at below-market prices. Some independent newspapers, particularly conservative newspapers, and non-political illustrated weeklies, accommodated to the regime through self-censorship or initiative in dealing with approved topics.”
The Nazi regime began to apply its perspective and teachings to major domestic and foreign events, its pursuit of racial persecution, cultural changes and down to how people reacted or behaved, redefining all in a context that supported their positions.
You do see the same attempts by Democrats to control the press and media, the same censorship and self-censoring, the same promises to cure socioeconomic issues, and same agitation against a phantom enemy. In Germany, the internal threat was the Jewish people, in America it is “white supremacists” (which the Democrats define as conservative Republicans). The external threat for Germany was the rest of Europe, Russia fills that role for contemporary Democrats. The Democrats also have their Sturmtruppen in ANTIFA and BLM and their Hitlerjugend in the form of the public school system.
Certainly, there is nowhere near 95% support for the Democrat agenda in America – but we know when key institutions are controlled, majority public support is no longer necessary. Democrats are currently in power, and their agenda has the support of the Deep State and globalists around the world. These forces now own the key instructions.
Gradually, and then suddenly.
It happened before; it can happen again.
I worry that the GOP isn’t fighting hard enough to end this process. Too many people are passively sitting by as the Democrats march toward total control.

I now believe that 9/11 was part of all of this, too .... allowing for the Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act to be put in place .... AND creating a common enemy (Islam) and allowed for various wars and distractions .... all while the REAL enemy resides in Washington DC .... And yes, sadly, that includes the Bushes ....
