I wonder how those three men would have survived in this time in history?

There is an interesting book, a collection by different historians, "The Collected What If?" By Stephen Ambrose (Not the many scientific ones) that give some thoughts about what the world would be like had things in history had Happened differently?

Do we expect too much of our politicians and not enough of ourselves? Are many voters just more interested in "getting it over with" and voting for anyone who promises to load them up with freebies?

I read both of Obama's books...he pretty much told me all I needed to know about his background, ideas and policies. There was no way I could have EVER voted for that man.

I hate the constructed chaos, today. I wish I knew how we can fix it. We are being worn down to the point we are to tired to fight back. I pray we survive 🥺

In most of recorded history there has not been a single minded drive to the bottom that we are experiencing in the USA these days. Today's hero(s) will be treated with opprobrium from great heights, along with their families, to have the temerity to rise up. We had a billionaire POTUS who lost wealth while serving and has I suspect outrageous legal bills countering the calumnies of the woke and politically deranged cabal currently in charge of DC and a smattering of local jurisdictions. I will say this ... if one hero of promise presents, it will be incumbent on me and others like us Michael to rush to stand with and march forward with that person.

Where were the heroes on Easter Island and Pompeii? We must always pray for saviors, but prepare for more of the same.

Michael, Yes! I believe this as well. I am looking for the eternal champion of our time. I do not need to live to see it, but I pray the abandoned youth of our culture will see it in their life time.

DeSantis and Trump seem to fit the hero mold.
