It occurs to me that the only way the Democrats could pull off their lawfare coup against Trump was if it could go fast enough to avoid questions that reasonable people would eventually ask.
Asking afterwards was anticipated, but Trump's effective resistance caused the legal tsunami to become a drip from a water faucet with each case its own drop.
The outlandish outcomes in the two cases (both "ripped from the headlines" of the SVU and standard Law and Order franchise) that have proceeded to a decision have caused people, especially independent voters, to take a pause and really pay attention to what is happening. Even Katy Tur of NBC, no Trump fan for sure, questioned the verdict and penalty in the Tish James adventure into the Kafkaverse (no victim, no crime, huge verdict).
The Fani Show in Atlanta has turned into a full series of Big Brother. One only must to tune in to see which bedrooms Wade and Fani wind up and if they will ultimately reconcile before the season ends and escape with the Beautiful Grand Prize (Trump's head).
Now Jack Sparrow Smith and Alvin Bragg and his Chip-punks are up on the entertainment schedule.
Smith has to hope he can reestablish his narrative before Alvin gets to the forefront because Bragg's case is already spurious and ridiculous but if it goes forward to a trial and a verdict, its absurdity will be magnified by thousands of times, following the pattern of the two cases that have gone to verdict. Either situation is trouble for our intrepid Jack Sparrow, Defender of Democracy.
This always was Cloward Piven lawfare.
They counted on overwhelming Trump with so many suits from so many directions, he would give up his quest for the Presidency rather than to put his fortune, his companies and his family at risk. In these government cases, it is never about the law, it is always about draining the resources from the defendant so he can't fight. Your choice becomes pleading to something you didn't do or having your finances, your family and our future destroyed.
All this means they learned nothing about him in the past 10 years.
He could have quit long ago, but he never was going to quit.
My thoughts:
The appeals process will take care of E. Jean. SCOTUS will ruin Tish's celebration party. Bragg will never survive a trial - if he does, SCOTUS overturns. Fani's RICO fantasy falls apart whether she is removed or not and Jack Sparrow's two cases wind up with the Supremes and they get crashed as well.
In the end, Trump wins the presidency and he, his family and his business all promptly sue every damn one of them for malicious prosecution and wins a settlement of over a billion dollars.

From your lips to God's ears.
I love it and I am so hopeful that it happens. Only the almighty knows for sure, but rumor has it - at least its being talked about on our local radio shows, is that the truckers are going to refuse to deliver goods to NYC in response to the recent verdict against Trump.
The Dems did not figure on the fact that many people are seeing these lawsuits for what they are...Frivolous and meant only sway voters as we know Trump will never give up! As a result Trump is massively leading in the polls!
