The Democrats have fully converted into the Don Quixote party.
They have given in to the insanity of slaying dragons that are just windmills.
After the election results sank in, AOC, the bellwether of progressive angst, lamented, “We are about to enter a period of fascism and authoritarianism.”

Trump is already lining up journalists, political enemies, transgenders, and notary publics for buses to the internment camps that he secretly built during his first term.

The Project 2025 Boogie Man is everywhere. Misogynist Hispanics and Blacks, racist KKK Republicans, “uneducated” white women (according to Sunny Hosten of The View), stupid college students – it is amazing how quickly Democrats turned on their constituencies.
There are recriminations within the Democrat Party, but as one would expect, the focus is almost exclusively external with no internal assessment. They are like my little three-month old granddaughter – she was in her bassinette, just cooing and rattling away, chatting with another baby, and never realizing she was chatting with her reflection in the little mirror above her.
It is OK for Poppy to do it, her time on this planet is measured in weeks. The Democrats have no such excuse, these are grown-ass men and women who have been around the block a time or two – and apparently learned nothing during those trips.
Right now, they are so lacking in self-awareness, they are talking to themselves in a mirror without knowing it.
I’m not holding my breath for a wave of self-reflection to break over the progressive tidal wall. All signs point to them doubling down and forging down the same path. I harbor no illusions of admissions that in 2020, they conjured up the election of the worst president in modern history, hid his true condition, and then conducting a career abortion at 4,261 weeks by very undemocratically deposing Biden in July of 2024. When they did, they trapped themselves in a very sticky web of their own making.
The identity politics Democrats had used so effectively against their opposition demanded selection based on identity rather that competence, and much to their detriment, the next in line was Kamala Harris, POC prepositioned by total chance at the pinnacle of the grievance hierarchy.
Harris was, of course, was a diversity pick for VP (clearly stated by Joe Biden that he would select a black, female VP), and perhaps the least qualified, singularly worst candidate for president in all of American history but not selecting her would have thrown the Democrats into open Blue on Blue violence – largely because the scam of racism in politics had become an ingrained belief system on the left. It was used and repeated so many times against conservative Republicans, the Democrats came to believe it as canon and then rendered and prosecuted it with the force of moral law.
So, they got what they deserved. Trump beat the cheat, won the popular vote and the Electoral College with a whopping 312 votes. The Democrat response was to break out the lances, strap on the chain mail, saddle up and head for the nearest wind farm for some dragon slaying.
Just for kicks, I think I might just tweet my Democrat acquaintances and tell them Project 2025 is real.
Well the Democrats failed to keep the White House through their own ideological version of European royal inbreeding. Unlike George Bush, who made a shrewd choice of an Executive Officer/goon/bully in Dick Cheney who actually radically changed mineral extraction policy, the more insecure Obama picked a dimwit like Biden who could not outshine him. I believe Biden became Obama’s sock puppet for his own covert shadow government third term. In turn the insecure Biden at Obama’s urging chose Kamala as his VP also I think as a “poison pill” to prevent Republicans from trying to remove him via the 25th Amendment. When the Inner Party selected Kamala in turn to replace Biden as their candidate she in turn passed over the capable Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro, who might outshine her, in favor of the buffoonish Tim Walz. Weakening intellects all the way down the line. Ironically this type of intellectual inbreeding completely belies their notions of diversity that exclude completely any ideological diversity or even just outside of the box creative thinking!
And - yes! - they are utterly lacking in any introspective awareness!
I spent a few hours scanning through the 900 plus pages of Project 2025, having financially supported a few of the groups that wrote it, for many years. It’s ridiculous how people don’t look at it, just repeat the stupidity and lies.
A few liberals that I share a meal with once or twice a year started up a conversation about Project 2025 at our last lunch. I was actually told that because I don’t have a college degree that I should not have bothered reading it. They all piped up about my lack of qualifications.
It seems to me that God answered my prayers for wisdom and understanding of fellow, but leftist Americans… there and then! I didn’t get angry or upset though if I wasn’t a Christian I would have destroyed them with my uneducated, but truthful words. When I got up to leave, I said,
“ It didn’t take me a college degree to know that this conversation was talked about and planned by you as a group. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist for me to understand that though you pretend that we are friends, you attempted to gang up and patronize me. I am strong because of God and because of other Patriots who back me up. None of you would have the balls to have that conversation with me one on one. If any of you are truly a friend, you can meet me one on one and apologize. Otherwise we are done.” I took a few steps away from the table and turned around and loudly said “By the way, y’all have some pretty degrees but I am wiser than you any day of the week and hour of the day because of the Mighty God I serve. “.
The only reason I remember what I said is because I think God gave me the words. 😂
