look , people fall for Menken's fallacy . they read something in newspaper or see it on media news and they know ir is blatenly preposterous, they call it out. but them they read the rest of the articles/stories and swallow them without questioning . the whole media is simply made up to support a narrative
The Republicans are hard-wired too damn soft. They/we need to be more blunt and direct, especially in DC. I sometimes struggle with saying things too nicely so as not to offend. Those days are dwindling quickly.
