This is politics rewritten in Orwellian ink. Law enforcement becomes violence. Illegal conduct becomes moral heroism. Criminals are rebranded as “neighbors,” while officers enforcing duly enacted law are cast as villains. War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength. The modern “resistance” survives by inverting reality and rewarding belief over truth. When legality is replaced by feeling, enforcement by empathy theater, and facts by curated narrative, the rule of law cannot survive. This isn’t compassion—it’s ideological gaslighting, sustained by institutions that punish dissent and reward unreality. In that upside-down world, refusing to see facts is framed as virtue—and the consequences are real, predictable, and tragic.

Two things: 1. You might want to fix "White, college educated, middle class, white women" in which there seems to be a redundancy. 2. I miss George Carlin. His analysis of the subject you address would, I suggest, be both sharp and the cause of invectified laughter. BTW Beta males would fit into the group you have described.

Well, they ARE really, really white.

And they're basically the campus feminists people dismissed in the 1990-2010s.

Someone of them went to law school, or B school, or got master's degrees.

They now run HR, legal, marketing, and much of middle management, or they became judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and even Senators. Newspapers, web sites, Hollywood, and the major media all hired them enthusiastically - "the future is female."

Few had children, or had perhaps 1 or 2. But what they did attain was a lot of power.

Hehce, wokery, cancel culture, and "progressive" governance, which is essentially a form of neo-Marxist post-modernism, where perceived reality can be changed with lies or euphemism.

This is why and how Karine Jean-Pierre could go in front of the press corps and say "the economy has never been better, everyone has a job."

Perhaps, but a load of wheat bread is now $9.

Suffrage OR civilization. It’s a binary choice.

Your analysis helps bring some meaning to the insanity, Michael. I appreciate your thoughtful essays.

Wondering how many others meet this tragic fate before sanity and reason return to prevail?

Michael Smith's avatar

Malthus might have had a point.

It pains me to have to say this , I don't think, I would hold my breath and wait for sanity and reason to prevail, I have a feeling, we have a really long hard row to hoe, and things are going to get a lot worse, before they start getting better. I hope am 100% wrong in this prediction.

Great one. I keep thinking these women don’t realize they are not Daenerys in GoT.

This substack makes the case for the repeal of the 19th Amendment. More kitchen, less bitchin.

Please don’t lump all of us females into this insufferable group!

When the law is broken (by entering the country illegally or by other means) it is the duty of civilization, of government, to defend the nation, enforce the law, and remove the offender from the public space. If a subset of that society sees the law as wrong, their choices are change the law or obey the law. Any other actions put them, the protesters, in the same category as the people they are trying to protect - they have committed a crime, and it is the duty of the society to find and punish them as well.

It's time FAFO was universally enforced - do the crime, accept the result.

This free essay is Absolutely Critical reading if you want to grasp the full scope of this unfolding dynamic and the centuries-long historical pattern driving it. For the deep-dive analysis backed by historical sources, doctrinal explanations, current demographic data, specific incidents, and documented "receipts" (including references to Pew projections, Europol reports, Global Terrorism Index, and primary historical chronicles), read the full piece here:

It lays out, without apology, how taqiyya-enabled deception combined with strategic mass migration is advancing a long-term project toward global Sharia dominance, and why ignoring it risks the irreversible erosion of Western (and all non-Islamic) freedoms. Wake-up call material.

I am a very white 64 yr old middle-class law school graduate. My birthday is January 6th. I'm getting tired of the Libs lumping me in with their crazies and stealing my bday to scream about their high holy day.

Michael Smith's avatar

Alas, I too am so pasty white I'm required to wear a lumen rating label and have a birthday in January - my 67th on the 23rd. But one thing I have observed about the Pelosi-ites is that everyday is J6 for them!

Happy 67th Birthday early! May it not be overtaken by screaming banshees!

A case study in behavioral science could be made comparing the actions of anti-abortion protestors over the past 50 years with these "AWFLs" today. Yes, there ultimately were a FEW violent anti-abortion activists caught and prosecuted (over five decades), but they were the rare exception. Most anti-abortion arrests result from the (very low bar and possibly unconstitutional) violations of the FACE Act, which prohibits demonstrations anywhere near a clinic.
