Monkeypox Monkeyshines
There are things one can afford to get wrong, and there are things one cannot.
There are things in this world one can afford to get wrong.
One can do so because getting that thing wrong produces little or no real harm and getting them wrong costs little or nothing.
Take transgenderism, for example. Transgenderism is certainly a societal issue, but if society gets transgenderism wrong, all we get is a few weirder, sex/gender confused dudes walking around in heels and dresses.
Strange, difficult to wrap your brain around, yes – but deadly, most certainly not.
However, there are situations that exact a real price if we get them wrong.
if we are wrong on economic policy, people get hurt in material ways. They can lose a lifetime of savings to inflation, the ability to generate income and even the most carefully laid retirement plans can fall victim to inflation and changes in tax policy. Even people who have done everything right, played by the rules and sacrificed can find themselves behind the 8-ball when their incomes can’t keep up with the changes.
In the most absurdly asinine societal convention, the medical establishment (and the public) are castigated for saying that monkeypox is an especially dangerous infection for gay men. This is tantamount to medical malpractice. Any social convention that prevents notification of any at-risk group is unconscionable, and yet, here we are with a society so afraid of stigmatizing a “protected” group, they are willing to ignore the risks posed to this group.
I recall Pelosi and Kaiser Wilhelm of New York City doing something similar when Covid-19 was in its infancy.
On February 24th, 2020, Pelosi walked through San Francisco's Chinatown with a large entourage, encouraging locals to come down and join her. Pelosi said: “Come to Chinatown. Here we are. We’re careful, safe, and come join us.”
Virtue signaling and combating “racism” was more important than the safety of Americans.
Recall how Bill DeBlasio similarly dismissed concern, kept the NYC subways running and tweeted: “Since I’m encouraging New Yorkers to go on with your lives + get out on the town despite Coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions. Here’s the first: thru Thurs 3/5 go see The Traitor [at Lincoln Center]. If The Wire was a true story + set in Italy, it would be this film."
How about during the lockdowns when the virus was so deadly people were getting arrested for paddle boarding alone or taking their kids to a deserted public park and yet racism was so much of a greater public health threat, the George Floyd funeral and subsequent riots were perfectly fine?
In June of 2020, Jennifer Nuzzo, a Johns Hopkins epidemiologist, tweeted, “We should always evaluate the risks and benefits of efforts to control the virus. In this moment the public health risks of not protesting to demand an end to systemic racism greatly exceed the harms of the virus.”
I’m like Pepperidge Farms when it comes to that kind of thing – I remember.
In a material way, the American left seems to think preventing offense is more important than protecting people from contracting a potentially deadly disease.
It might seem that way, but it isn’t that way.
But this fear of offense is a manufactured, theatrical fear.
The real reason is a desire and drive to demonstrate to you, their enemies, that they are willing to do anything to shut you up, even hiding the truth from their allies even if it means risking sickness and possibly death.
It shows how little concern they have for their constituent groups, especially LGBTQ and black Americans, if those groups can serve their purposes. In other words, they are willing to consciously expose their supporters to known risks by hiding those risks from them – just so they can own the cons.
That is wrong. Morally and ethically wrong.
Now extrapolate that same attitude and process to economic matters.
That takes the Democrats’ malfeasance to a whole new level.
That is actively and willfully indulging in economic warfare against innocent people simply because they disagree.
And that is more than wrong, that is evil.
They say time heals all wounds – but if we forget what has been done to our nation in the past two years, and more than that, who did it, we deserve what we get. Don’t let them get away with it. Remember what podcaster, TV and radio personality Dan Bongino says – Republicans may not be the solution to all of your problems, but the Democrats are most certainly the source of all of them.
I agree. But...transgenderism is much more dangerous than COVID. It’s an ideology. If it were about the 1 in 30,000 among us with her sex dysphoria then it would be as you described. About 10% of women in colleges now are, or claim to be gender fluid/trans etc. with about 30% believing they’re gay. This ideology is wrecking an entire generation of children.

I don't believe a word they say. My first inclination is to consider we are perhaps seeing the affects of self spreading vaccines (the human body is caused to generate bioweapons )
look under "Predictions too Suspicious". Monkey Pox was predicted.
