I don't have the empirical data to back it up - yet. I'm looking but the people responsible for such things are very good at burying data that reflects badly on them - but it sure seems the people, the alleged criminals, that Soros backed DA’s in major cities are refusing to charge or are springing quickly from the hoosegow are predominantly one race.
Chicago just had a wild west shootout in the middle of the day and not a single person was arrested. Soros installed DA, Kim Foxx, said they just couldn't determine who participated, so they couldn't arrest anybody. Here's a thought - why not arrest anyone seen shooting. All of them. Then sort it out. These people weren't ambushed on the way to church.
When you see video of the criminal activity, there certainly seems to be a strong correlation to race - and the victims also are almost always another person of color.
This can't be the price non-white communities want to pay for the Democrat's wokeness.
Is it justice or social justice?
Is criminality being ignored due to 1619 Project/CRT sentimentalities?
Because crime, especially murder, is on the rise, and based on FBI data, guess where it is spiking?
C'mon man. You know the thing.
Same with the border.
Is the border open because POCs are escaping inhumane conditions or is it just a way to punish the majority white population for their evil nature and past transgressions?
Never mind, that was rhetorical. Of course, it is punishment.
As with many (most?) of the Biden/Democrat Party policies, their aspects seem to be less positive and more punishment, designed to hurt, not to help.
This is the "stop crying or we'll give you something to cry about" administration. Anything traditional, constitutionally aware Americans are for the Democrats reflexively oppose. The American flag is to Democrats as a rubber reflex hammer is to a knee.
No malarkey. Here’s the deal.
The luminaries in the Democrat Party sell these policies to their perpetually aggrieved constituent groups as retribution to right some perceived wrong - they are all about punishing the rich, punishing racist white people, punishing religious groups that oppose abortion or gender fluidity and now, apparently the DOJ is drilling down on America’s fastest growing criminal element - domestic terrorist parents who go to local school board meetings. These are all enacted Democrat policies we have seen in the past week, backed up by the force of federal law and resources. But somehow, these are all boomerang policies that always inflict some form of pain on the people they are alleged to benefit. It has been said that the greatest harm inflicted upon people almost always originates from those who claim to be helping.
By now, there probably isn’t a single Internet user who hasn’t seen this C.S. Lewis quote at least once:
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
If one considers what the Democrat Party thinks minorities need, from the quota systems embedded in affirmative action programs to reparations, to the current fad of “equity”, it conjures up images of minorities, especially black Americans, that they are not very smart, they are slothful and lack initiative, they cannot succeed on their own without guidance from someone with superior intellect, and they require some sort of advantage supplied by a benevolent benefactor.
The American left justifies this as some sort of “benevolent racism”. Like most of their counterintuitive, contradictory ideas, their racism is OK because they mean well.
Of course, the Democrats won’t say it out loud, but the “help” they propose defines what they think of minorities – actions always speak louder than words, and the image conjured up looks a lot like the depictions seen in the Dr. Seuss books – “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” and “If I Ran the Zoo” – that the wokateers got cancelled a while back due to “racist and insensitive imagery”.
But it does explain why the Democrats love any “theory” that is based on stereotypes, especially those stereotypes serving to confirm their many biases. It also explains why they hates any member of a minority who refuses to conform to their stereotypical models – like Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Tim Scott, Candace Owens and other conservative blacks, Asians and Hispanics like them come to mind.
Weaponized racism is tyranny.
It would not be wrong to modify the C.S. Lewis’ quote this way:
“Of all racism, a racism sincerely exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.”
Let’s go Brandon, baby, let’s go Brandon.
