Kamala at the Border

As we crash toward November 5th, the Harris-Walz campaign travels to the Arizona desert to plumb new depths of deception, prevarication and perfidy.

I’m an early riser. I like it, mostly because Murph and I are on the same biorhythms, we both wake up at four in the morning, take care of a few necessary biological functions, then he curls up at my feet in my office until about five thirty when he is ready for our run and I have had time to fuel up with coffee, think, and stretch out the kinks in this aging body.

I cranked up the TV and computer in my office simultaneously this morning, as is my habit and in a complete happenstance, saw Mike Lindell on the tube hawking his stuff for the never-before heard of price of $14.88. On my screen was a story from Newsweek about this price point and how it is really Mike doing some Nazi signaling:

“This specific price of $14.88 raised eyebrows as, to keen observers, it is affiliated with white supremacists and online neo-Nazi groups. Seth Cotlar, a history professor at Willamette University in Oregon, wrote on his Bluesky account that the ad is a "disturbing wink at Nazis."

I said aloud to Murph, “Good Lord, we have reached rock bottom of vapidity. This is an SNL skit.”

Murph nodded in agreement (although he prefers the late 70’s/early 80’s SNL material and casts).

Then I watched Harris’ speech from her border photo op, and I realized we are still a few feet from the bottom.

With about four months left in a four-year term, Kamala Harris visited the southern border for the first time in her national career and claimed to have been concerned about American sovereignty all along. She is the border hawk, she claimed, not the Orange Man. She is the tough one who will close the border and her chants (captured on video) of “Down, down, with deportation!” from a few years ago should just be ignored.

I say this without equivocation - in my entire sixty-five years on this planet, I have never witnessed a presidential candidate more willing to shamelessly lie - to the point of being a pathology - or a group of useful idiot supporters so willing to be lied to.

It is so obvious she is a complete and total nothing, if she were in the Marvel Universe, she would be Mystique, a blue -skinned mutant who can mimic anyone's appearance, mannerisms, and voice but no matter how much they try to make it so, this isn't a comic book universe. There are real problems in the nation and the world, many of them deadly, some even potentially existential - and this DEI cipher is the best the Democrats can do?

To foist a senile, decrepit, consistently wrong on policy, old man on America was one thing, but to insult the American public by putting this lying zero up for the highest office in the land is something else entirely.

They literally hate you.

They assume enough people in key counties and cities of swing states are f*cking dumb enough to buy the "Trump is Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Putin rolled into one" narrative to vote for their nothing.

"Listen to us, believe us - just don't believe your own eyes and ears. Don't bother to think just do what we tell you, you might make the wrong decision", doesn't seem to be a message Americans would accept - but holy hell, there are mentally unstable human drones out there who are ready to assassinate a former president due to those exact words.

Three have already tried, one got shots off, one caught in the act, and one foiled before it could happen.

This is fuel for the takeover of America by a tyrant or an autocrat. They scream that the Orange Man wants to be a dictator while goose-stepping to an autocratic cadence called out by their masters in the Democrat Party.

The Democrat Party is the reincarnation of every evil collectivist and communist political party of history, this time just cloaked in bright comic book colors.

There are so many parallels to pre-Bolshevik Russia and Pre-Nazi Germany, I can’t even list them all. The most obvious component is the number of people who are so completely saturated and marinated in Bolshevik and Nazi-like propaganda, they can no longer think for themselves and have surrendered to believing what they are told – even when they know they are being told lies.

They are willing to cheer for Trump’s policies recycled through the cakehole of a vagina-having POC (who is stuck between identifying as Black or Indian) because they know she doesn’t mean a damn thing she says.

For the sake of the country, I hope the media hype is hiding a majority willing and able to vote against another idiot puppet president and the Soviet-like politburo and dumas they plan to use to control her.
