Quite a few people, including some I consider friends, patriots, sages and warriors, are adopting the position that if you don't unconditionally support President Trump during his indictment season (and it certainly appears to be something that will last for a bit), you are something of a traitor.
Listen, I think all this crap is a bunch of trumped up (pun intended) bullshit driven by Biden's cabal because they think they are going to get away with it and they will be able to stop Trump and prevent him from getting into a position to destroy them.
I want to see the Biden cabal burn in Hell - and even that is too good for them.
But Trump sure does appear to my eyes to be helping Biden a wee bit with his own persecution. If he actually did some of the dumb shit that is alleged, while those things might not amount to significant legal jeopardy, they weren't really helpful - or were they?
While the media chronicles all the "firsts" he is going through, Biden is also the king of a bunch of "firsts" as well, putting him firmly in banana republic territory. Despite what the media want you to think, this is all bad news for Biden. America will eventually come to its senses and recognize this for what it is - political persecution of an opponent.
And the Big Guy's problems are mounting and far more substantial than anything President Trump is alleged to have done. He and his party have a lot more to lose than they are aware of if Biden takes a big fall (again, pun intended) and they are left with Kamala, the California used car salesman with the slicked back hair - or heaven forbid, Big Mike.
What I can't get past is how Trump's arrogance and selfishness made this so much worse and far more difficult than it had to be. Even though all of this is all beatable in court, why go through it if you don't have to? For all the mock seriousness from the legal eagles who reviewed Jack Smith's inflated indictment, putting Trump through this will make him stronger and my bet is nothing substantial will come of it.
As Admiral Akbar said, "It's at trap!"
This almost feels orchestrated, that it was invited.
There were many off ramps before we got to this point - but if they were taken, the issue wouldn't have been as red hot as it is right now. It wouldn't have been as useful for political advantage if it was a non-issue.
This feels more like it is being stage managed for maximum effect.
More to the point, I feel like I'm being managed.
But it has the natives beating the hell out of the war drums.
It's brilliant if it works.

As 'they' like to say ... "You are watching a movie .... "
How did "What I can't get past is how Trump's arrogance and selfishness made this so much worse and far more difficult than it had to be."? How you can blame Trump for any of this is beyond me. He didn't indict himself. He played by the rules. He cooperated. They've done everything in their power to entrap him.
