Is Joe a Nice, Honorable Man?
The Magic 8-Ball says no.
Democrats just do not get why people support a rapist, a fraudster, and a thirty-four-time convicted felon.
What they do not want to acknowledge is that the “rape” conviction was not “rape,” and it was based on New York state changing a law specifically to allow E. Jean Carrol to file her lawsuit in a court where they didn’t care that her testimony had more holes in it than a block of Swiss cheese. Similarly, with the “fraud” case, Letitia James invented a crime where no harm was done, no victims were identified, and the judge said that a disclaimer that any entity looking at doing a deal should do their own independent valuations wasn’t enough. Alvin Bragg did both E. Jean and Tish one better by completely inventing thirty-four crimes, not telling the defense what the crimes were, and not presenting evidence of actual wrongdoing. Aided by a judge who instructed the jury that it did not matter what the crime was or whether there was evidence, just vote guilty if you feel like it.
And they did.
Last week, Megan McArdle of the Washington Post answered that question for the left in a series of tweets:
The answer to "Why aren't Republicans concerned that he's been convicted of 34 felonies" is that they--not unreasonably--believe this case was a dubious distortion of the law which would never have been brought if Trump had not been a Republican president loathed by progressives. here are a lot of reasons that the GOP should have done more to ditch Trump when they had the chance. "Alvin Bragg inflated an embarrassing payoff that was at best a misdemeanor into 34 felonies with a dubious legal theory" is not among them and ironically, the more that the left tries to make a campaign issue out of the felonies, the more political this prosecution looks.”
As a defense against the obvious political prosecution/persecution of Trump, the left likes to cry, “Joe Biden is a good man. He is restoring norms!”
But is he?
The real answer is no, he is not. Not even close.
Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner compiled a short list of Biden not being a “nice guy:
He said in 2008, a helicopter he was riding in was “forced down” near Osama bin Laden’s lair in Afghanistan. Actually, it was just waiting out a sandstorm.
He has falsely claimed to be a coal miner and from a family of coal miners, a claim pulled from Kinnock, according to Slate.
In 2007, he said he was “shot at” while in Iraq. The truth is that he was in the green zone when a mortar landed several hundred yards away, reported the Hill.
Biden has said he was a civil rights leader, participating in sit-ins. Never happened.
The president recently retold how his Delaware house caught fire, almost killing his wife, dog, and cat, and melting his Corvette. Reports say it was just a small kitchen fire.
And then there is his million miles flown story told to Amtrak conductor Angelo Negri, when Negri was dead at the time of the alleged conversation.
I will add these:
He lied about the truck driver “drinking his lunch” before hitting his first wife and killing her and their children, he lied about Beau dying in Iraq, and he exaggerated his sports career (claiming came close to trying out as a walk-on in the NFL.), he lied about his scholastic record, he lied about what Trump said at Charlottesville and that Trump told people to “inject bleach.” He lied when he said he drove an 18-wheel rig; once arrested for standing up for black family that had moved into a neighborhood during desegregation; that he “had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see (Nelson Mandela) on Robben Island,” that he was the first in his family to go college (yet Biden also said his grandfather was a star college football player); and that he had been nominated to attend the United States Naval Academy.
This is a “decent” man who showered with his daughter Ashley (according to her diary) and has been credibly accused of sexual assault by former Biden staffer Tara Read and eight other women who said Biden “either touched them inappropriately or violated their personal space in ways that made them uncomfortable.”
His policies include resegregation, open borders, favoritism toward illegal aliens, supporting trans surgeries for kids and transgenderism in general, more wars, burdening taxpayers with the student debt of others, eroding protection for women by changing Title IX, and let’s not forget his role in the “lynching” of Clarence Thomas and as the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, led the injustices committed against Judge Robert Bork.
No, most certainly Joe Biden is not a good man – but Democrats ignore that fact.
If we are going to play that game, let us see both sides.

Dogs tend to take after the temperament of their master. Hence the nasty disposition of his dogs.
The litany of events about JRB is likely short of the actual instances where dishonor and nastiness occurred.
