I was talking with a friend yesterday and he asked me what, if anything, could Democrats do to get back on track.

I've posted several times about what I think are their internal issues but after thinking about it for a bit, without a massive failure on our side, I don't think they can be taken seriously any time soon by anybody except their most rabid base for a few reasons:

  • Democrats were able to implement their vison for America's future for five years and all of it not only failed, it made things worse. They had the perfect environment to try out their Utopian policies - they had basically five years because during the last year of the first Trump administration, progressive "public health" officials, the BLM/ANTIFA crowd, Democrat governors and mayors, and the media were all 100% in line with whatever the Democrats wanted to do - and in all honesty, Trump was far too weakened by the constant investigations and impeachments and the GOP, as usual, were scared of their own shadow during the alleged pandemic and neither offered any resistance.
