Feeling Unburdened By What Has Been
I'm looking good and feeling good...
I am feeling unburdened by what has been when I state that our government is filled with communists. They have been intentionally and unintentionally salted throughout the Deep Stated for nearly a century.
If you wonder why Christianity and holidays associated with it is hated within the Deep State, understand that Christians are to communism as a mongoose is to a cobra, they are natural enemies.
In my opinion, expressions of communism should be a disqualifier for any government position. Of course, you should be free to believe in communism as an individual or in a group, but those individuals or groups should never be a part of government where they have the power to favor one class over another.
Joe McCarthy was right.
Give those dark sentiments, and I may be crazy, but I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas this year in a way I haven't since before 2008.
I guess Kamala's campaign was about joy after all.
She did say "Joy cometh in the morning", she just didn't know that the joy would come in morning after her defeat.
There is undeniably something different, something good, in the air. Some say it is a culture shift, but I don't know because the culture shifts I have experienced in my life have been as Hemingway described how Mike Campbell, one of his characters in "The Sun Also Rises", went bankrupt:
“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”
The fact the perpetrators of coerced cultural change are watching their prized cultural mandates - CRT, DEI, protected classes, and others – experience something akin to what happened to some of Musk's early rockets - RUD (Rapid Unplanned Disassembly) is exciting and enjoyable on their own.
Anything that can be deconstructed by fiat was not organically grown, it was imposed - and imposition of culture never works in a free society, especially when people can remember how things were when they last felt good about them.
Seldom have we had such an opportunity to contrast and compare two administrations with the leaders of those administrations campaigning for either an extension of the last four dismal years or a complete shift for the next four years (to return to the better policies of a previous administration).
Inarguably, Trump has a tough four years ahead, what with Biden doing all he can to start WWIII, but honestly, the bar is so low to get rid of things people hate, I expect the feeling I now hold toward the holiday season to last for a long, long, time.
The fact that DOJ apparatchiks are lawyering up and looking for countries without extradition treaties means they know that they have created a weapon they no longer control.
The sad aspect is that the DOJ, when used to prosecute actual lawbreakers, will be called a "weapon".
I've considered why I feel calm and optimistic about what Trump and his disruptors will do. Many point out that they have done nothing yet and their tasks are Sisyphean in nature, at least at the outset - a lot of uphill boulder rolling to be done.
I may be wrong, but my calm and optimism are rooted in my assumptions that we are about to return to our natural state where reason, objectivity and natural law wins the day. Humans are more comfortable in a state of reality than they are in an invented world where they know it can fall apart at a moment's notice. There is consistency and longevity found in reality - and nowhere else.
It feels normal already.
I am reminded of some dialog from the classic comedy movie, 1983’s “Trading Places”, starring Eddie Murphy (Billy Ray) and Dan Akroyd (Louis Winthorpe III). After these two had been abused by uber wealthy brothers Randolph and Mortimer Duke over a bet about nature vs. nurture, they executed a plan to take the brothers down. Meeting in front of the trading floor, the greet each other:
Louis: Looking good, Billy Ray!
Billy Ray: Feeling good, Louis!
I know how Louis and Billy Ray were feeling at that moment.

Feeling goood, too, but cognizant of the fact that there are many large boulders to be pushed.
Holy smokes I feel like I wrote this myself right down through the deep state commies and Joe McCarthy. My mother was a vocal conservative in the 1950s and we had warnings like our garage door bashed in and strange phone calls, so I knew she was RIGHT 😁. And right down to feeling optimistic. I have a small (kapow!) church and we are watching our prayer answers unfold before our very eyes. Oh, but we do not relent.
