One wonders if the current Chief Justice of the SCOTUS will find the cojones and engage his confreres to depoliticize due process. Not sure this would be possible via legislation. By continuing these types of actions, the Dems are committing political harakirri.

Roberts acts like he want to depolarize the system as his rulings keep it going. Is he lying or stupid or both?

I don't have a personal acquaintance with the Chief Justice -- my comment is probably motivated by the same concerns of many other fellow travelers who grew up when the court seemed to be less political in the decisions taken.

He won’t. Look at his track record.

As expected the Left is using the judicial system to impede what Trump was literally elected to do. Lately one wonders whether Justices Roberts and Coney Barrett will do the right thing as they've been VERY disappointing on too many important issues.

Due process was certainly not of the minds of the Democrats when it came to the many falsely accused Jan 6th prisoners. Their cases were delayed to string out their over-the-top punishments. Some were even held in solitary while awaiting a trial. And these were U.S. citizens! Those who crossed our borders illegally are entitled to rights as human beings, but not to due process. They aren’t “due”anything. Now if they want to come back the right way, and apply for citizenship, I’d say welcome, my friend.

Due process was denied for the 330 million some Americans of native birth and legal immigration status when 8-10 million immigrants were allowed to cross the border without any controls. So I say screw due process when deporting them.
