Color Me Unsurprised, Mr. DaVinci
C'mon, man. The Trans "Last Supper" was entirely predictable, you dog-faced pony soldier. No joke.
I don’t have the time or energy to be shocked or angry every time a progressive does something “shocking”.
Not anymore.
What the left does to “shock” is so on brand and predictable, it isn’t shocking in the least, rather it is expected, predictable even.
Take J.D. Vance’s three-year-old comment about “childless cat ladies.”
We all know what Vance meant (and they do too, that is why they got big mad about it). Vance used children as a measuring stick because it doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to know that kids are our future (and even though that is a mantra of the left, their reaction to Vance’s comment proves they don’t really believe it) and having kids is the way to replace ourselves and to refresh the population.
So, kind of important.
Especially for the continuation of the species – and for the survival of Western culture and civilization.
I have proffered the same idea about religion – if people do not believe in an afterlife, and that attaining that afterlife requires a certain degree of morality and being “good”, then people will be far less likely to attain any degree of morality or being “good” because there is no downside to being immoral and bad.
Now every left-wing outlet is running headlines to psychoanalyze Vance and prove how “weird” he is. The New York Times ran one allegedly showing that it was an “Age Old Trope of ‘Childless Cat Ladies.’ One sees self-justifying editorial responses as again in the Grey Lady yesterday, titled “I Was a Childless Cat Lady,” unsurprisingly stating that being a Childless Cat Lady is good for society, the environment, and every other thing.
One doesn’t need to dig too deep to see the metanarrative behind Vance’s comment - he was referring to the nihilist (bordering on misanthropes) Karens and Soy Boys in the Democrat Party who have no stake in the future and make policies accordingly.
So, what does the Democrat Party do?
Well, they go out and set up Karens for Kamala, allegedly 100,000 strong, ostensibly to support the Democrat appointee for president, but filled with exactly the kind of white women Vance was talking about. There is also a male (allegedly) component, White Dudes for Harris, apparently a group of femdom submissives where testosterone goes to die.
I didn’t have “Transgender Last Supper” on my bingo card either, but let’s be honest – once you saw it, were you all that surprised? Think about it. Godlessness is a required trait to belong to the left these days and they have learned from practice that Christians are tolerant of even the vilest attacks on their religion. We’re not radical Islamists, we believe God will sort them out later rather than us gripping our AK’s, a little Semtex, a handful of ball bearings and rendering them into bite sized pieces.
And the provocateurs (for French Olympics, a little French seemed appropriate) know we would bitch and moan, they would lie and say it really wasn’t what it was, and they would get another poke in the eye of Christians and their God.
Over time, they have learned they would not only get away with it, they would be backed by Karens worldwide, it just became standard operating procedure.
What people don’t seem to understand is that by the time some public act like this occurs, they have already won their battle. They measure their success in publicity and reaction. They get off on the outrage.
So, you can understand my reluctance to be surprised, shocked, or otherwise angered.
I still believe God will sort them out.
But I also believe God will measure us as defenders of the faith.
We are not called to don a holy cross embroidered tunic and march to Jerusalem, but what we must come to terms with is what we are willing to do or give up to punish them (while they are still above ground). Being outraged but still watching the Olympics is not punishment. It is acquiescence.
Pro tip: narcissists hate being ignored, and Narcissus had nothing on these people.
I’m not watching the Olympics, but I never planned to watch. For me, the Olympics are the Cracker Jacks of sport, you have to sort through a lot of caramel popcorn to get down to the secret decoder ring in the box. I’m interested, and am keeping up through social media and sports sites, but I’m not giving NBC, one of the worst religiously and politically biased networks, my eyeballs to count.
But I’m not surprised – and you shouldn’t be, either.

narcissists hate being ignored, and Narcissus had nothing on these people. TRUTH, and I've ignoring them for a couple of decades
True they hate being ignored. I think it’s appropriate to point out the revolting perversion, not just as an attack on religion but as complete filth. I was far less disgusted by the fake Last Supper as by the repulsive and tasteless display of sexual perverse as well as the ghoulish headless image of Marie Antoinette. The Olympics used to be a must watch for me as a child. I literally counted the years between the events.
The Olympics used to be about the athletes, about national pride, about achieving greatness through hard work and discipline. The opening ceremony was focused on the athletes, carrying their flags, often wearing traditional costumes or elements of their national identity. They were not some perverts wet dream.
