Codependency

After dumping Biden, the media is on the hunt for their next abusive Democrat partner.

The past couple of weeks have really ripped the scab off a long festering wound.

Some of the media can’t see what is coming and have fallen back into their old habits of defending Democrats, especially Biden and his boss, Chairman She (Dr. Jill), but more of them are beginning to peel away as talk from the senior Democrat leadership and their big donor lean toward telling Joe “You’re fired” and turn to Kamala (it has to be her, there is too much trouble in any other direction).

The media isn’t fickle, they are just in the world’s biggest case of codependency with their Democrat partners.

Democrats have been pulling some big frauds for the past twenty to thirty years, and the media once called them when they did, grudgingly of course, but they used to have a minimal sense of what was right and wrong for the country – no more. They tried to protect Clinton in his peccadillo with that Miss Lewinsky, but when they saw how bad it was, they at least reported on it.

That all changed when Obama made the scene.

When Obama spoke at the 2004 Democrat National Convention, the media sensed he was going to be the Next Big Thing, and began to fall in line behind him, setting themselves up as his protector.

Enamored with the idea of a black president, the bandwagon turned into a wagon train.

They did not do it out of ideology so much as Obama was their ticket to power. Not real power, of course because the media does not have real power, they do have influence, but there is a difference between influence and true power, and they know that. However, the most intoxicating thing for people who do not have power is to be close to it and so when Obama announced his 2008 run, the media essentially became his second skin.

That is when the codependency really blossomed.

The more Obama did radical things, the louder the media clapped and the louder they clapped, the more Obama felt free do to more radical things because he was going to get cover. The more cover he got, the more he did and then the more the media covered him. It had to stop at some point, being the death spiral it was because eventually, the acts were going to become so obviously anti-American and anti-Constitutional, the media would run out of materials from which to build the cover.

The Twenty Second Amendment meant Obama was on the clock, and the unexpected happened with the election of a Republican Congress that slowed him down.

Obama’s fundamental transformation of America was put on hold for his choice for president, Hillary Clinton. It was not Biden for a reason and that one reason was, as Obama put it, “Never underestimate how bad Joe can fuck something up.”

As much as the media loved Obama, they hated Trump twice as much for defeating Hillary and sidetracking Obama’s agenda. When the Democrats are out of power, the media cannot be close to it, so they have no use for a Republican.

So, they doubled down when they got their next chance to get back at the table with the cool kids in 2020. I do not think they had any love for Joe Biden, they still love Obama and wanted to see his agenda pursued and his legacy protected – and to do that, they had to pull out all the stops to get Biden elected and then to cover for his multitude of deficiencies.

Which they did.

That is, until the June 27^th debate when Joe went too far off the rails to cover up. They covered for Biden’s unconstitutional orders, ANTIFA/BLM riots, and even anti-Semitic, anti-Israel/Hamas terrorist supporting protests, but Biden’s mental condition was a bridge too far.

But it was too late, Biden’s lack of sentience stripped the media of all credibility. They knew, and if they didn’t know, it was because they didn’t want to look.

Now they are on the hunt for the next codependent Democrat partner who will keep them close to power and wouldn’t you know it, that damn Donald Trump is in the way again!
