Can Things Get Worse?
Why yes, yes they can.
Can things get worse?
That is something I have been considering since I read the trial transcripts from the Paulette Harlow case, the 75-year-old abortion clinic protester who, was prosecuted by Biden’s DOJ, was found guilty, and just drew a two-year prison sentence from a Clinton appointed US District judge, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly.
The sentence was bad enough, but the denigration and complete disrespect the court showed in the process of sentencing Harlow was shocking. One might characterize such treatment as being based on loathing.
Then this weekend, Biden did his Mr. Magoo act again at his Jimmy Kimmel hosted, Obama assisting, thirty-million-dollar fundraiser and asserted he (Biden) had taught constitutional law for nine years (which is down from the 21 years he claimed in October of 2020).
Using that con law brilliance, he stated the Supreme Court had never been more out of “kilter” and we just couldn’t allow Trump to appoint two more justices or democracy was going to die – but that stupid crap is par for a president and administration that literally lies about everything, even when it is easier to tell the truth.
About the “kilter” remark, Biden clarified that:
“The fact of the matter is that there has never been a court that is this far out of step.”
Out of step with what or whom, one wonders.
Could it be public sentiment, polls, focus groups, the happenings in the faculty lounges of the Ivy’s, pop culture, American Idol, the newsroom of the Washington Post?
What could he be talking about?
The one thing he was not talking about was the Constitution of the United States of America.
But you see, this is how the left sees the Supreme Court – it is a mini-legislature that should be swayed by political whim, in this case, the whim of progressive Democrats. The Supreme Court is supposed to rubber stamp progressive policies and the ones the progressive cannot get through Congress, they are supposed to just create law that serves the same purpose.
And if Biden has anything to do with it, that is what the SCOTUS will become.
Right now, the SCOTUS is the only institution the progressive Democrats do not simply control outright.
And that is killing them.
That is why we have upside down flag gate, the code of ethics faux issue (this one is my favorite because no clearer example of the pot calling the kettle black exists), Kavanaugh ran a rape squad in high school, Catholics should not sit on the court (at least not conservative Catholics, “devout” Catholics like Biden are OK). No less than Sheldon Whitehouse, Chris Murphy, Extreme Hakeem, Dan Goldman, and Jamie Raskin are working day and night to delegitimize the court in advance of trying to pack it.
Even the brain of the House Democrats, Sandy Cortez from Westchester, wants Congress to take control of the SCOTUS, proving she has never actually read the Constitution.
So, I guess my answer to the question that started this all is yes, it can get worse.
And it will if Democrats maintain any degree of control.
Vote for the Republican.
You may not want to do that, but I believe Dan Bongino when he says that the Republicans may not be the solution to all your problems, but the Democrats are certainly the cause of them.

Yes, if they can't throw that darned Constitution out of the window, they can at least try to bend it to their will.
My FIL, a WW2 vet in the Pacific and a proud American often commented about Dems who controlled Congress for most of his adult life that they considered the Constitution as bathroom tissue (edited). Our nation must rid itself of such folks up and down the ticket, starting this November.
