Beware People With Fancy Sounding Degrees

Repeating what an idiot says makes you an idiot.

“Because some people who have fancy sounding degrees say so.”

More and more, I interact with people who have never thought through the words coming out of their mouths, they just repeat what someone they think to be smart said.

Let me provide an example:

A friend of a friend posted that Tucker Carlson called Qanon followers on January 6 at the Capitol “gentle people carrying American Flags.”

He deleted his comment, but I had already said I would really like to see that transcript - or the clip. Since he put that in quotation marks as a direct quote, I assumed it was a direct quote and he had the information on which it is based.

The fact was that he posted was just a chopped-up quote that MSNBC and other lefty sites reported to make it seem something it was not. The full quote, taken directly from the transcript (took a google search a total of less than a second to find the actual transcript) was something quite different (as they almost always are)”

"Do you ever notice how all the scary internet conspiracy theorists, the radical QAnon people — when you actually see them on camera or in jail cells, as a lot of them now are, are maybe kind of confused with the wrong ideas, but they’re all kind of gentle people now waving American flags?"

Wow, imagine that - it has a meaning completely different from what he posted.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you.

Actually, I'm not.

I spend a lot of time in my personal and professional life dealing with moronic comments like this - statements based on what somebody said about what somebody said coming from people who are incapable or too lazy to check for themselves because they just mindlessly agree with the tripe flowing from our media these days.

MSNBC said it, so it must be true – because leftists would never lie to advance their agenda now, would they?

If you have been in the trenches like many of us have during the past few years, you know of which I speak. It is the same today with CRT as it has been with every other crank socioeconomic idea being sold by the contemporary intellectual snake oil salesman for decades. CRT is just the latest avatar for the Soviet/CCP style collectivists/communists who have been trying to take America down for generations.

The radical “population bomb” Malthusianism of the 60’s gave way to the “Coming Ice Age” global cooling of the 70s’ which gave way to the “Acid Rain/Tree Spiking” environmentalism of the 80’s, then the LGBT/Third Wave Feminism of the 90’s which gave way to world is sinking “Climate Change” mantra of the double aughts, then the “democratic socialism/#MeToo/everybody but me is a fascist” fundamental transformation of the 10’s, and for the 20’s, it is going to be the race hate of the Critical Race Theory crowd and the open assault of the real Fascists who want to end the Bill of Rights.

The fact is that quoting an idiot just means you are an even bigger idiot. Most of the people just swallow whole the words out of the leftist supporters of CRT when the say “it’s only an analytical method taught in law schools used to study systemic racism in our legal system”.

Pardon my French, but that is total bullshit.

And only fools or idiots believe it.

Sorry about the rough language, but I am fed up being surrounded by leftist clowns who have never thought through any of these things on their own and just spout whatever MSNBC, CNN or the New York Times tell them to repeat.

We should speak to these people firmly, directly and in language they understand.

I have always said I have no problem with critical thought and critical examination of anything, but the truth is that there is always a difference between theory and application – of anything. Folks, this is how and why con games work. Scammers look for ignorant or gullible people who are ready to believe anything if it is presented with confidence and from supposed authority – “Well, my good man. I have personally sold this age reversing ointment to Cornelius Vanderbilt and John David Rockefeller and they swear by it! You should buy it, too!”

Any engineer or technician who has ever been tasked with translating a theoretical idea into practice knows this famous (infamous?) Einstein quote (also attributed to others): "In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not."

How CRT - and all the other tools used by contemporary Marxists over the years - are practiced is quite different from the theory.

Unfortunately, there is a large segment academia and our teachers who have been identified as easy marks for the con schemes of the left. I do not think it is because these people are not smart, at least in a “check the box” educational regime sense – they have been taught what they have been taught and proven they learned those things, but they seem to have had the ability for independent thought taught out of them. There are simply no rational people who think teaching children (and children that not too long ago were said not to understand racism) that whites are always oppressors because they are white, and that discrimination can be remedied by more discrimination, just discrimination against the “right” people.

The progenitor of the false and explicitly racist “1619 Project”, Hanna Nichole-Jones gave away the true motivation of the race hustlers. In an interview in 2019, she said, “If you want to see the most equal multi-racial democ… — it’s not a democracy — the most equal multi-racial country in our hemisphere, it would be Cuba.”

What this is all about, as those of us with eyes to see, is the left is using race as wedge to implement their collectivist dreams – just as the Frankfurt School would have wanted.

Before people just parrot what those people with fancy degrees are saying, they better start thinking about where this goes and what the real endgame is.
