An Empire Built of Lies

The agenda driven left doesn't give a damn about truth. They want more George Floyd moments.

Truth has never mattered to the agenda driven left. I had someone just today repeat the lie that Dagny "Nex" Benedict, the allegedly non-binary student in Oklahoma was beaten to death by transphobic students because she "presented" as a male.

None of that is true. According to the school and police reports, backed up by police bodycam footage, Benedict started an altercation by throwing water on other students in the girls bathroom and a two minute altercation followed. The school followed protocol and confirmed no one was damaged, so the students were sent home.

The next day, Benedict took an overdose of Benadryl and Prozac and died in the ER.

That's according to the Medical Examiner's report.

But that doesn't matter.

A LGBTQ activist advised not knowing the truth because it would get in the way of the preferred narrative, tweeting: "Your commitment to justice for Nex isn't lessened by not watching or listening to it."

I remembered an article from 9 years ago in the UK Guardian (I used it for research for something I wrote) covering a book by an investigative journalist about the 1998 Matthew Shepard case in Wyoming. If you recall, Shepard was a gay teenager who was supposedly killed because he was gay. It was alleged to be a hate crime.

The subhead of the article was this:

"Matthew Shepard’s horrific death at the hands of redneck homophobes shocked America and changed its laws. Now a different truth is emerging, but does it matter?"

The author of the book, Stephen Jimenez, "found that Matthew was addicted to and dealing crystal meth and had dabbled in heroin. He also took significant sexual risks and was being pimped alongside Aaron McKinney, one of his killers, with whom he’d had occasional sexual encounters. He was HIV positive at the time of his death."

The article goes on to quote from a Casper Star Tribune editorial, the local paper in Shepard's home town, "claiming that an award Jimenez had recently received for his book 'deserves rejection', saying: 'From the beginning there have been those who want to ignore the sadistic homophobic motives of Shepard’s attackers and instead insist the matter was a drug deal gone bad.'"

So no, it doesn't matter to anyone willing to lie to advance an agenda.

Dan Rather is now infamous for this kind of "fake but accurate" process. Nina Totenberg, during the Clarence Thomas hearings, told us that "it is the seriousness of the charge that matters."

It is also the same as reporting deaths of patients "with Covid" as opposed to deaths "from Covid". The former supported the narrative, the latter not so much. It is also why the manifesto of the Covington Christian School shooter has never been released.

The LGBTQ crowd wants a George Floyd moment and they are clearly willing to stand on the grave of Nex Benedict to get it.

These are evil people, hell bent on building power on a pile of bodies and false narratives.
