America's Message to the World
When the guardians of freedom, peace and prosperity we selected (or created) fail, it is our God given right and duty to throw those guardians out and replace them with ones who will.
Democrats are praising Biden for his brilliant moves against Putin.
This is like giving him credit for the sun coming up in the morning and blaming the GOP for it going down at night.
We are back to the Obama era practice of three things:
Let's not do anything and just say we did.
Take credit for anything good, blame the opposition for anything bad.
Based on our need, redefine any loss as a win.
The world isn't unifying against Putin for anything Biden did because nothing he did has worked. Europe got interested when it became evident that Putin may not be satisfied with Ukraine. He has already threatened Finland and Sweden as well as put a nuclear option on the table.
It is maddening to see the media claim the Ukraine conflict caused America's economic problems. This should make it clear they will reframe any event in terms favorable to Democrats, no matter how absurd their framing is.
Casting the disastrously embarrassing exit from Afghanistan as the "greatest evacuation ever" is a prime example. "We beat the Berlin airlift and Dunkirk added together" isn't really a positive when it is clear that none of it had to happen the way it did.
Biden says we need to wait thirty days or so to see if the sanctions against Russia have worked - in thirty days, the conflict could be over and Ukraine in Russian hands.
Real diplomacy and "chess" would have stopped this before it started.
There is a reason the Russians held fire until Trump was out of office - and it is the same reason China behaved during the Nixon administration - they figured those guys might just be crazy enough to do what they said they would do.
And the lies are almost too much to take – from both the left and the neocon right.
The biggest lie Democrats and warmongering neocons are telling is that if you oppose getting involved in another pointless, stupid war with dubious national security value to the US (no doubt it has such implications for Europe), you just want to date Putin and are a Russian stooge.
“Tucker Carlson should be arrested and charged with treason!” says the increasingly unhinged Lawrence Tribe.
The second lie is that Trump wanted to dismantle NATO.
Europe has learned it can get America to fight its wars for it via NATO and Trump just wanted to get Europeans to pay, not their fair share, but the share they committed to paying for NATO - something they haven't done for decades.
It is hard to reconcile the hawkish positions of the Democrats and the neocons with respect to Ukraine and its "sovereign borders", when they ignore very similar threats to the United States. Those now railing against Putin's crackdown on Russian citizens protesting against the Ukraine offensive sat quietly by when Trudeau did the same in Canada and J6 trespassers are still imprisoned without charge or trial.
America could have prevented this without firing a shot by retaining the economic power Trump restored. Exporting natural gas to Europe ended Russia's stranglehold on Germany and other EU members - but instead of that, Biden ended our economic resurgence to the point he is begging Russia and OPEC for more oil and gas.
The only way this happens is if you truly believe America is evil, is not a force for good, and simply does not deserve to lead.
Look what that got the world.
Russia is clearly the bad guy here, but this is what both NATO and the UN were created to prevent before it starts or if it starts, to stop it.
If they can't fulfill that basic duty, maybe they should be abolished.
Not a new idea.
In 1690, philosopher John Locke wrote his “Second Treatise of Civil Government”, a tome that included this:
“Whensoever therefore the legislative shall transgress this fundamental rule of society; and either by ambition, fear, folly or corruption, endeavour to grasp themselves, or put into the hands of any other, an absolute power over the lives, liberties, and estates of the people; by this breach of trust they forfeit the power the people had put into their hands for quite contrary ends, and it devolves to the people, who. have a right to resume their original liberty, and, by the establishment of a new legislative, (such as they shall think fit) provide for their own safety and security, which is the end for which they are in society.”
Thomas echoed Locke’s ideas in America’s own 1776 Declaration of Independence. The Declaration made it clear that when the guardians of freedom, peace and prosperity we selected (or created) fail, it is our God given right and duty to throw those guardians out and replace them with ones who will.
That is a message for the world, not just America.
If Biden has inherited anything from his Democrat predecessors, it is the trajectory of failure among Democrats, beginning with Carter’s malaise and foreign policy failures, to Clinton’s breathtaking corruption, to Obama’s race-based Marxism. Viewed from this perspective, Biden’s presidency is a capstone achievement of economic malaise, open-borders, fecklessness, political corruption and bitterly divisive racism.
In 30 days Biden will be threatening sanctions of Putin's invasion of Poland.

It will be interesting to see if Brandon pulls a Trudeau, claims the Freedom Convoy is "Insurrection 2.0" and establishes martial law and mass political arrests.
