America Leads the World!
Unfortunately, it is nothing to cheer about - we lead in falling behind.
USA! USA! USA!
We’re number 1!
Wait, what are we first in?
America is leading the world in falling behind.
Hardly surprising since our social and educational institutions are more interested in teaching how the mind can change your sex if you just click the heels of your ruby slippers together three times and repeat “Men can have babies. Men can have babies. Men can have babies!”, that every evil in the world is due to white people, and all science, technology, engineering, and math is racist and therefore worthless.
Except in the real world, people can’t change sex by mind power, men can’t have babies, whites are no more uniquely evil than any other ethnicity or race and science, technology, engineering, and math make the world go round – as a matter of fact, STEM is the hydrocarbon of history, of the present and the future. STEM is like hydrocarbons, if it isn’t made of them, they are used in some way to produce it.
During my high school glory days, we rolled up in our newest yellow school bus to a contest with a rival basketball team that had just opened a new gym, had new uniforms and a new coach. Our head coach gave us a pre-game pep talk saying, “Don’t let all this “new” bother you. None of this (*coach pointing to the gym from the front of the bus*) matters if they can’t execute the basics. I know their coach and he doesn’t teach the basics. I do, and you know how to play the game.”
And he was right. We had been drilled to exhaustion during the preseason practices on all forms of passing, how to control a dribble, how to anticipate on defense, how to find the open man, how to execute our set offensive and defensive plays – and we were fit. I never hated running bleachers so much in my life – but we could play the full game at full speed due to all those steps climbed and suicide drills run.
America was the latter, skilled and drilled, but now are the former – more concerned about how we look in our new unis than winning the game.
Our kids are being taught scientific impossibilities, that everybody sucks, and how to put a condom on a banana. Children in China are being taught calculus, how to set up and lure your opponent into an L-shaped ambush, and how to put a condom over the barrel of an AKM to keep it dry during an amphibious infiltration.
All this while America still leads the world in patents and inventions, lead in medical research, technology and cures, still lead the world in GDP per capita for any country with more than 5 million people, still provide the world currency, have the largest economy, are the most popular target for immigration – legal or illegal - and so far, are the only country to put a man on the moon – six times totaling twelve astronauts with feet dry on the lunar surface.
America still generates so much to be proud of - and yet we have become so self-loathing that we consistently struggle to finish in the top twenty of the happiest countries on earth, usually stuck somewhere between 15 and 20. The American are being taught to feel good about feeling good, not feeling good about being productive, successful and being the world leader.
Classic American brands have lost their shine – Gillette, Bud Light, Target – Starbucks hired Obama’s wingman, Eric Holder, to teach them how DEI works, and then were promptly sued for the things he advised them to do.
I guess I should acknowledge what got us here, and to the surprise of absolutely no one, it is the current vessel of choice for cultural Marxism, progressivism, postmodernism, and deconstructionism – a little gift-wrapped package called “woke”, delivered by its favored disease vector, the Democrat Party.
American pedagogy is irreparably broken, but thankfully, neither adults nor children are slaves to it. Each one of us has a duty to recognize what is great about America and to tell others about it in a frequency that meets or exceeds the level of wokeness.
Michael - your posting has me wondering - have we all forgotten how to win? Have we forgotten what winning feels like? OR have we been told, educated and constantly reminded that winning is racist, winning is bad, winning is taking advantage of those that cannot win...
I am scratching my head on this one a bit. During the world wars we were united in defeating the enemy. We took pride in winning and threw ticker-tape parades down many a city street.
Jumping ahead, after 9/11 we came together again, and we were going to get those rat bastards that did this us, and we were going to win...
But since then, this disease called 'Woke' has infiltrated, like a virus, and has found its way into the highest office in the land, as well as onto the military bases of those that protect us.
Our own children are lied to and told that they can be any gender they want, heck men can menstruate and have babies...Lie upon lie until the child buckles as the tortured eventually do.
We allow this to happen as a society and condemn those that speak out against it, we condemn those that stand up and say, 'The King has no clothes'.
I now ask, how do we end it, when will we end it, when will we return this country to its rightful place of winning again, being number one in all that we do.
My 2 cents.
From my view, the only way this indoctrination makes sense is through the lens of “One World Government” and “The Great Reset” that the IMF’s Klaus Schwab and his ilk are championing, where governments around the globe unite around controlling their citizens. All governments want control. I think this was a socialist dream years ago but “the pandemic” filled bureaucrats’ sails with momentum and glee that they could achieve it through agendas in education, cryptocurrencies, CO2 limitations, continued medical treatments, inflation, increased regulations, election interference, thumbs on the scales of justice, etc. After decades of ‘tenderizing’ through “cl!mate cr!s!s”, they saw just how compliant the general public was to their nonsensical mandates during cov!d and went for it. We must not comply.
